Queen Ivy to come back in second half of 2012 + returns to industry

Singer Ivy has shared her lawsuit has finally concluded entirely and she is ready to make a return to the stage.

On March 22 Ivy posted on her personal blog saying, “Hello everyone, are you having a good day? I have some joyful news to share which is why I’m writing this. The lawsuit that you had heard about has finally been concluded and I am free to go about my activities as I wish. I’ve wanted to sing so badly and missed the stage so much.”


Since January of 2011, Ivy has been embroiled in a case against her former agency, STOM E&F, after the singer filed a request to terminate her contract for failure to see to her career and for withholding profits owed to her.

In November, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in her favor giving her the green light to resume her singing career. Despite the singer having been away from the music scene for nearly two years and a half due to the lawsuit and other issues, the singer expressed she held no bitterness about the time that had passed.

“Now, instead of looking at the precious time that has passed with regret, I’ve come to have a grateful heart for the things I’ve learned and experienced through this,” Ivy shared. “Above all, I want to give my biggest thanks to those who still cheer me on and wait for me to sing again. I will make sure to return your attention and love soon.”

Ivy previously shared that she was aiming for a comeback in the latter half of 2012.
