120315 Park Yoochun – Unable To Eat Nor Sleep, Kept Tearing‏
 Park Yoochun is currently staying vigil at his father’s funeral who passed away on the early afternoon of the 14th.

Since the beginning of the South American tour on the 6th and the receiving of his father’s death news, he has not been getting proper rest for almost four days. As his flu has gotten better when he was in South America, he is still currently staying strong.

Park Yoochun’s representative relayed to Osen through a telephone call, “Park Yoochun is currently not eating nor sleeping at all while staying vigil at the wake. His brother Park Yoohwan had wanted to let him rest while taking over his duties but as Yoochun is the ‘family’s mourner’ (the deceased’s eldest son), thus had to fulfill his duties. On a lighter note, he has pretty much recovered from his flu thus there’s not much problem with his health right now. But at such a young age, it has been a big trauma to him.”

SBS representative said, “Currently the filming schedule is not fixed yet, therefore as to whether is there a back up plan to film or not, it will be discussed after the funeral ended.”

120315 Park Yoochun, Park Yoohwan Exhausted Themselves In The Midst of Sadness For Their Father’s Death
On the 15th, both senior and junior colleagues, fellow actors and entertainment industry personnels have made their way to pay their last respect to the father of brothers Park Yoochun and Park Yoohwan, sending the distressed brothers their condolences.

Especially Park Yoohwan who has not been able to eat anything, the continuous tearing and staying vigil at the wake has resulted him in exhaustion. He was then being sent to the hospital for a drip before returning once again to the wake.

Members Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu, together with Song Ji Hyo and the C-JeS staffs have also been staying vigil at the funeral hall since the 14th.

120315 “Rooftop Prince’s” Park Yoo Chun to Return to Filming on March 19

With the sudden death of his father, JYJ’s Yoo Chun hurried to his mother and brother’s, Park Yoo Hwan, side as soon as he landed at Incheon International Airport. Jaejoong, Junsu, Song Ji Hyo, and other members of C-Jes Entertainment stayed by Yoo Chun’s family throughout the night as friends and family came by to pay their respects. Those who attended the service included celebrities Alex, JUNO, Kara’s Nicole, Park Sung Kwang, and several members of the cast of Yoo Chun’s upcoming drama “Rooftop Prince.”

Yoochun has canceled his entire schedule until the funeral service on March 16. His brother, actor Park Yoo Hwan, also canceled his filming schedules for his latest drama Channel A’s ”Strongest K-Pop Survival.“

A representative of the production staff for “Rooftop Prince” stated, “Once he recollects himself after the funeral service, Park Yoo Chun will return to filming on March 19.  We have already shot the first four episodes, so the original broadcast date will not be affected.”

“Rooftop Prince” is about a Chosun era Crown Prince Lee Gak (Park Yoo Chun) who was in the midst of investigating the death of his Crown Princess (Jung Yumi) when he mysteriously gets sucked into the future and meets his destined love (Han Ji Min). The historical-fusion-contemporary-fantasy drama “Rooftop Prince” will premiere on SBS on March 21 at 9:55PM KST.

120315 Nicole, Han Ji Min, Alex... Pay respects to Park Yoochun's Father.
Fellow artists and actors give their condolences and support to Park Yoochun and his brother Park Yoohwan after the passing of his father, paying their respects at St. Mary's Catholic Hospital mortuary located in Seoul, At 8AM of the 15th, Hong Seok Chun, Kim Juno, Kara's Nicole, No Min Woo, Alex from Clazziquai, Oh seung Hyeon, Jung Seok Won, Han Ji Min, Cho Sang Ki and Gwak Yong Hwan, among other film,tv and  music personalities.

The entrance to the mortuary is being strictly controlled and only close family and friends are allowed to enter. It is said media and fans were asked to leave the place in order to keep a calm atmosphere.  

According to information released by a representative, Kim Junsu, Kim Jaejoong and Song Jihyo  have not leave Park Yoochun and Park Yoohwan's side since their arrival on the 14th to St. Mary's mortuary.

Park's father is known to have passed from a chronic illness in the morning of the 14th (t/n: according to some news articles he suffered from cirrhosis). The burial ceremony will be held on the 16th at 7AM at Seoul Memorial Park in Wonji-dong.

No problem, I was not going to, but then I did a search on naver and there are so many articles and pictures from Today's burial, they are so broken it really breaks my heart.

I decided to share the picture I thought was the most solemn, just to inform people and let them now of the current situation., but there are other pictures that are so painful to see tbh. Junsu is one of the people carrying Mr. Park.

While I believe for Yunho and Changmin might be better if they don't publicly say anything you know, since the situation between both sides is still quite fragile, I'm amazed at the fact that not one single SME artists showed up. Like I'm appalled knowing some of them were really close to Yoochun, this is really awful tbh.

Yoochun has had such a rough time over the last few days with the media frenzy on sasaengs and now this!I really really hope they get through this together.Im glad that Junsu & Jaejoong are there to give him their support secretly wishing Yunho & Changmin were there too Such a hard time,not eating & drinking,makes me cry just looking at how upset he looks T.T

Part of me is surprised that HoMin haven't said a peep about this whole shebang but then again they've also sat by as their former friends got sued, but the other part of me isn't. I hope they do try to express themselves to Yoochun, or pretty much we can all say goodbye to any hopes of a reunion in the years to come. This will effectively kill "Keep the faith", because I think if it were the other way around, Yoochun and company would have said something about it instead of staying butt silent. This isn't about money or whatever anymore. This is someone's parent, who's passed away way beyond his years, who will never be able to see his sons marry or have children. As they say, it's only in times like these one sees who their real friends are.

I remember just gasping in shock when I read the news and just knew how hard it was going to be for them. I am so glad that Yoochun was able to reconnect with his father in the later years (he's mentioned his illness in interviews before). I am also thankful for all of the people around him who I know will take care of him during this tough time!

Thank you for the post. This is so sad. I'm glad he's getting support, but also worried about Yoochun (and even Jaejoong) at the same time. He needs all the support in the world rn and I hope family & friends know this. Be strong, Park family/everyone.

On a side note, I hope Changmin and Yunho have made some sort of private contact. I'm sure it would mean a lot for everyone.

UPDATE ABOUT JAEJOONG:

I've been checking on news portals for comments and such, and korean tweets are saying Jaejoong was sent to the hospital (against his will) in the morning because he was exhausted and had a breakdown. He couldn't make it to the burial because he is too weak and he's receiving IV as someone mentioned. Some are saying he's supposed to get discharged at noon. Friends and Family are getting worry about Jaejoong too because no one expected Jaejoong to be this affected.

I think we forget Jaejoong can be really fragile at times, also since they came from such a long trip and all these problems and controversies in the last few days are a bit too much for them to handle :(

Also for those close to the Park family.
Jaejoong seems to be taking this so hard (to the point where it's frightening me), but with the stress of the past few days it's understandable. Plus, I'm sure this brings up bad memories for him because of the tragic occurrences that took place after the death of Park Yongha's father.

This is such a hard time for the boys and for those around them. I'm glad that they have the support of their family and friends and hope that they can continue to rely on each other in the coming days because this kind of pain does take a while to deal with.
