Has Toronto been confirmed? Or any of the other cities that have been getting mentioned? I'm not liking this waiting game.

Translation error, I'm guessing. I'm sure they just meant big/populous cities. There's prob some Korean word for "important city" or something that's usually applied to capitals but doesn't necessarily mean capital city. It's the same in English, actually. NYC is sometimes called a "capital city" but the capital of NY is Albany.

ngl that was my first reaction. like, it's the nation's capitol, it's near the center of the coast, and i live INSIDE THE BELTWAY for fucks sake and i wish idols would make it easy for me to go see them. THOSE ARE ALL GOOD REASONS.

Same here, and it would be super convenient since it takes like, 15 minutes for me. Why bother coming to visit the US when you don't even come see the nation's capitol?! and even better yet, just have concerts here please. There's a surprisingly large Asian population here as well.

ikr? I live in what's pretty much Little Korea, VA. It's like, trust me, people here are interested. And I can catch a bus up to New York (or wherever) pretty easily if that's where people are performing, but what about people in, say, Florida? I certainly wouldn't want to drive the entire coast, so why can't these companies make things easy for everyone and choose the big important city that right in the middle? Ugh.

Exactly. My friends in the south are always griping about how hard it is to go to a concert. It's just common sense that you would pick somewhere that is reachable for most fans. I'm from MD and while we don't have as many Asian residents as you do, there are still a considerable amount. It's also so much easier for students because I don't want to have to come home at 1am on a Sunday night and have to go to school the next day.

Woo Md and I agree, Dc or NYC is so easy to get to. It's all connected. I'm sick of this 5 day before ticket shit and it just being in LA. Come on!

but nowhere did billboard (and billboard korea at that) ever said that bigbang is the leader of the new korean wave. where did that come from?

not that big bang is not a leader in some way, but nowhere did the billboard article say so. and the caption on the photo in the grammy website just said that they went kaboom (or something like that). i think their too presumptuous with their interpretation. :o\

you're right. the k-media treat hallyu like some new form of neocolonialism.

korean tech and automobile is doing quite well, but i'm not sure many know they're korean products.

...we live in the age of globalization and every culture is spreading not just the korean one.

i hope they keep this in mind when they're thinking of producing something they don't consider as racist but actually is.

oh, i didn't mean them to be part of korean culture, but korean exports in general.

Just announce dates already and put people at ease.

This!
It would make sense to announce dates earlier so poor people can get more time to put money aside for tickets.
Also, it would probably drum up even more excitement.
