BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and 2NE1’s Minzy each shared a funny photo to observe White Day, an unofficial holiday in Korea where the male partner is supposed to pay back the woman with candy for the chocolate they received on Valentine’s Day.



On March 14, G-Dragon wrote on his me2day, “Happy White Day,” with a photo of him covering his eyes with oversized candy. His bleached hair and the colorful candy bars match well with each other, sparking huge interest from his fans.




2NE1’s Minzy, meanwhile, tweeted a similar batch of photos with the same message that read, “Happy White Day! Hope you receive a lot of candy~.” In the photos, Minzy leaves a sexy yet charming impression, holding the same candy bar G-Dragon had close to her mouth.

Netizens commented, “G-Dragon is super cute,” “Minzy looks so sexy these days,” and “I didn’t receive any candy!”

Every year in Korea, March 14 is marked as a day when men are supposed to return the favor to women who had gifted them with chocolate on Valentine’s Day. Instead of chocolate, male partners in general present candy gifts to express their love. Did you give a candy to your lover today?
