Yup. They work well with them. I just hope Sweetune gives better line distribution this time. They always have someone who sings like one line the whole song, even though they're a better singer than that. in infinite and Rainbow (when they used to work with them) the lines were all over the play as far as who got what.
tbh idt sweetune decides line distribution it's probably the companies bc the line distributions for Rainbow haven't rly changed that much for their work with Daishi either.
Companies usually have the direction, and of course it depends on what they want. But the producers are the ones who write the songs. I know Brave Brother's and Tiger determine the lines. AS was saying how they fought for lines at times.
It didn't change much with To Me, but with Sweet Dream there was a bigger different. No Eul and Yoonhye got larger parts, and the distribution was more...blocky. Like instead of lines each singer got a verse or part of it.
Anyway, i think its a mix. The company wants this and that, and the producer accommodates and distributes to that and how they see fit. A company deciding, now that i think of it, doesn't make much sense since they're not the ones sitting down with the singers and writing it. Unless like the producer is only for that company mainly.
I'm still in awe about how Nine Muses got so much better since their debut. It's brilliant. Looking forward this one and loving the very classy 30's picture (pity they didn't dressed the part either).
I'm not really that well versed on Nine Muses (though I did enjoy their latest song) but this cover really caught my eye, it's a gorgeous photo and so unusual in kpop. I guess it's doing its job well ^^
