Just repeating what everyone else said, but dude, this guy has no business shitting on the individuals who have had to sacrifice everything to be idols. And seriously, I highly doubt that greed is the running reason why people want to be idols, when there are numerous reports of how they are starved and even worse paid than part-time market workers in Korea, with excessive debt. Not to mention the outrageous exploitation by the training academies and entertainment companies.

you're right. whenever I've gone to a kpop concert I've noticed that a large majority of the people there were at least in college...so i'm pretty sure the international kpop fandom is older than the general kpop fan in korea.

lol i have never even heard of this guy and while he makes points, this is not brand new information. this is the idol industry, this is the entertainment industry actually.
he sounds pretentious and condescending toward hardworking idols and he probably does not even know what goes on music wise.
What is popular is catchy pop music just like everywhere else, that does not mean that there is not more.
