Block B's maknae hospitalized

The boys of Block B have been under quite a lot of mental and emotional stress ever since they’ve found themselves in the middle of a controversy after their interview in Thailand. It seems the stress reached a point in which it became too hard for member P.O. to handle, as he has been hospitalized.

With the controversy getting out of hand, P.O. has been reported to have been in a state of panic after suffering from much stress the past week. With the news of a petition calling for his suicide by some cruel individuals, the stress and shock seems to have led to his hospitalization on February 24th.

People have been wondering where P.O. was during ‘M! Countdown’, since he had been seen at a pre-recording, but not during the actual show. It seems his missing presence was due to his state of health.

Brand New Stardom stated, “It is true that P.O. is currently hospitalized. It seems he has experienced much shock after the current controversy, but his full medical examination report has not yet come out.”

They also added,“Currently, we’re most worried about the members’ health and the welfare of their families.”

As reported earlier, Block B has issued written apologies, bowed to show their remorse on their music show appearance, and also released a video apology to show their sincere remorse and offer their apology to the people of Thailand.

Holy shit. This needs to stop. I'm not even a Block B fan but this is too far. And someone in the idol industry needs to step up and say how bullshit it is that this would happen. For real, like someone needs to step up and say something, because this is going over the line. And if no one says anything about it, telling the anti's to back the fuck off, then they're just as bad as the idiots that signed the petition.

My heart literally stopped beating after reading about it. I glanced through the headlines too quickly and read it as P.O. was hospitalized due to a suicide attempt. I want to smack myself for having such thoughts.

poor p.o. this must be so hard on the members, i'm surprised more haven't cracked as well. this needs to stop right now, so much worse has happened in kpop. just because they are a new group doesn't mean the fans can take it to this extreme because of bbcs not being large enough to backlash. i hope the members can cheer up a little seeing the support of bbcs at the recent music shows. they're still loved and i hope they don't forget it.

I'm wishing for P.O. to make a speedy recovery and the rest of Block B the best, I'm sure they have learned from their mistakes and this has honestly gone further than anybody anticipated. It just seems like their antis are taking this string and running with it.

That said, I'm not sure exactly how true the rumor of suicide petitions are, a few of the korean (Hottest) fans I follow say they haven't seen or heard of anything like that and to "show corroborative evidence" (aka where're the receipts.)

This is actually kind of upsetting; my heart goes out to him and I wish him well on his recovery.

However, this whole situation clearly has gotten out of hand. Whether anyone believes the sincerity of Block B's apology or not, having suicide petitions made because of their comments goes too far. The people who are actually behind these petitions and those who agree with that petition are just as bad if not even worse than how Block B conducted themselves in that interview.
