- Yoochun’s ‘The Empty Space for You’

Frankly, I was worried in the beginning. The OST has a different chord compared to the usual songs. One person needs to have a good feel and the ability to be emotional in order to sing the song well. This is probably the reason why people prefer Baek Ji Young and Lee Seung Chul. I was worried if an idol singer could show emotions in the song. However, Yoochun definitely has a good singing ability and his ability to show his emotions using his voice is excellent. I was very satisfied.

- What is the strength of Yoochun’s voice?

He has a refined grace when singing and he can show the pure emotions of a boy. Yoochun had done well by putting effort in showing the image of a boy in the song. He is an entertainer whom I hope to see more in the future.

- Recording episode

Yoochun did not sleep for a few nights in the States and he came back to South Korea for recording. It was obvious that he came back in a rush and I was touched that he gave his best. Also, he was not in a good condition. It was fortunate that we could finish recording in three hours, which was a short time because he has strong basic singing skills.

Out of all the 3 solo OSTs JYJ made, I think this song was the weakest, but still sounds good. It's just that Jaejoong's "I'll Protect You" and Junsu's "You Are So Beautiful" are just really, really, really good songs. But that's just me.

Junsu's is the best! lol. I liked Jaejoong's because of the high note he had in that song. IDK, it may be largely based on my huge bias. lol. But I liked it better than Yoochun's though.

I'm in agreement about Junsu's being the strongest. I was watching Scent of a Woman at the time and this song came on...utter perfection. And he sings it with such emotion too. Boy's get serious skills. I'm Chun biased in general but Junsu's vocals get more flawless by the day.

IKR. Even when they sang for SKK Scandal, Junsu's song was still the best. I actually watched Scent of a Woman because of the OST! lol. That song was pure perfection.

SKKS is where my head spins. I liked all 3 songs a lot. Junsu's was flawless as always. I think Jae's song is so beautiful and his voice is effortless on it. It prob worked its way into my heart because so many of the shippy scenes featured Jae's song. Chajatta is like a slice of sunshine. Love it. That OST can do no wrong. I was looking at the lyrics again the other day...amazing.

Haha, funny thing happened with me and Scent of a Woman. I actually started watching for Lee Dong Wook and then somewhere in the middle I wasn't sure if I could continue given the inevitable sad ending.

I love Jaejoong's "To You it's separation, to me it's waiting" too. It's too beautiful. But Junsu's "Too Love" was majorly LSS-worthy. lol. I agree! Chajatta was perfect! I think this was their 1st Korean song in a while and everyone was crying tears of joy because it was so beautiful. lol.

LOL but the ending was pretty non-climactic. I was hoping Kim Sun Ah's character dies in the end for a good ending to a good drama or at least they found a cure to cancer, but the ending became too safe. lol. Perfect OST and Lee Dong Wook though. lol

I remember at the time I was excited to see the performance. I only realized the difficulties they were facing a little after that. It explained why I hadn't seen them on other music shows since the trio left. I was pretty new to the Kpop fandom at the time.
It must have been a very emotional moment for the boys. But they more than did that OST justice. The JYJ songs were perfection.

Oh yes, so I heard! I read spoilers and recaps even though I'd stopped with episode 8. I wasn't sure my heart could take the tragedy, but then the last episode was "different". While it is an interesting way to do the series it made me sadder still. It mean she'd go at any moment and Wookie's character would be left on his own.
OST was lovely. Junsu's song just hits the spot. Wookie is always lovely. I think my first Kmovie was his one. "The Perfect Couple. Absolute laugh riot, that one!

Yeah, it was pretty emotional that time, and I remember forcing my family to stay at home (though it was New Year's eve) in order to watch that performance at KBS World. lol. Their songs are so perfect, just don't make another Ayy Girl album and we're okay. lol

Me too! But that drama was a good sad story. I'm just kinda iffy that Kim Sun Ah looks so thin there. The ending to that drama doesn't have a closure so I'm on the edge if it's good or not. lol. Still, the OST Junsu sang made it perfect.

Ita. I think Yoochun's got the weakest voice in the group.

I usually don´t like ballads but I love this song. The melody and the lyrics are beautiful.

Yoo Chun singing is good, I can feel his emotion when he's singing the song. But his character is meh in Miss Ripley -- I wondered why he is given such a role to begin with. And the drama's ending is crappy. Thanks God I didn't waste 16+ hours of my life watching it.

I don't know what I'm expecting from the ending. But the way the drama ended is just too unsatisfactory -- no closure and seemed hanging. ANd the fact that he still didn't get over her bugs me. Why the good guys always suffers in the end? Lee Da Hae seemed to move on and happy with her life while he still can't forget her. Both the mother and daughter make up, the father is happy to stay married with the mother while the main guys left alone and lonely in the end. :/

That's what I'm talking about. The good guy always suffers in the end while other characters and supporting characters get a happy endings -- even the second lead guy in this particular drama (not that he didn't deserve it since he totally do). While the fact, the person who is nice and suffers from the very beginning has a sad and lonely ending. I hate Kdramas for always punish the good & nice guys -- they barely have good endings... And I have come to the stage where I'm sick with that kind of storylines.
