Professional photographer Kang Yongho was invited on jTBC's "Shin Dongyeop and Kim Byeongman's Naughty Boy," where he revealed many behind-the-scenes stories.

He said, "I've been rejected five times by a certain A-list celebrity for an advertisement shoot." As the hosts started getting curious about the identity of the A-list celebrity, Kang Yongho elaborated, "It's So Jiseob. I really want to ask him once why he did that."

Kang Yongho also revealed, "Some of these top models who are A-listers have aristocratic tastes. Even though they weren't always like that, somewhere along the way they start drinking only branded water."

He continued with, "I get irritated when I see these A-listers behaving like this, but it annoys me even more when B-listers act like that."

Imo it's probably So ji Sub's agency that don't feel he's right for the brand because he doesn't seem up his own ass. Weird thing to bring up tho, no freedom of choice or something?

well if he doesn't want to be associated with that product, it makes sense. Why keep asking. He, or his agency, obviously don't wanna do it.

IDGI. Sounds like the photographer is just butthurt and decided to air his grievances either to make So Jisub look bad or to pressure him into accepting the next offer. I mean since when does choosing not to work with a company equal having a king complex? It's not Jisub's fault the guy didn't take the hint and asked him 4 more times. Even if Jisub was turning up his nose to the brand, that's his right. He shouldn't be obligated to do something if a company asks.

On a smaller note, I didn't see this clip, so maybe the guy was saying it jokingly. If so, then whatever. That's just a random topic to bring up.

lmao ever wonder that they didn't want to advertise the product? idk, sometimes I feel like professional photographers are really stuck up & rude =/

It amuses me how butthurt the photographer is, considering that SJS/his agency most likely declined the offer because of the product and not because of the photographer. And even if, complaining about it seems rather unprofessional.

I know Ji Sub got very sophisticated taste but there must be reasons why he turned the guy down. Still, it's amusing how he has been asked 5 times -- well, as expected from a guy of his credibility..

Is he jokingly said this or is he serious, cause it makes him kinda butthurt at So Jisub.
His agency must felt that advertisement didn't fit his image or something.
If you asked the 2nd time and get rejected, you should know better and stop asking. meh.
but I'm curious about the B-listers tho.

Having a bad photo shoot for a magazine or ad campaign can be a big deal. If SJS doesn't think the man would do a good job for whatever reason - or just that the styles don't mesh, I don't see why he shouldn't have the right to turn him down. No need to be butthurt and suggest that he's being petty/arrogant for making career decisions.

Seriously? So Ji Sub must get a ton of requests for photoshoots and stuff, it's his choice to make and the photographers should know that and know better than to get butthurt. It's like asking Brad Pitt for a photoshoot 10000x and getting irritated when he doesn't reply. You know celebs get tons of requests that they don't have time to reply to.
