This is wonderful! After hearing the Phantom cover, and now this, the original song arrangement seems so blah in comparison. It left a lot to be desired. I hope SNSD gets a more inspired arrangement of the song somewhere down the line because I think they can do it.

I always like it when Lyn does K-pop covers because she doesn't overdo it and doesn't saturate it.. this one is no exception. I enjoyed watching and listening to it. It's not something I would really put in my iTunes though.

Whoa, that was amazing! The original (and all of it's remixes - including that joke of an "acoustic" version) definitely pales in comparison and I'd love to hear the girls do a version like this (Taeyeon could definitely pull it off, along with the other girls too).

I had in mind the Genie deutsch song. It's not a cover so that wasn't good vocabulary on my part tbh. I love SNSD's genie (fact is, it's my fave song from them) but in the end, I still favour the german one ^^. Same goes with Iu's Gee. I think it's better sound for me somehow. It's not much and it certainly doesn't belittle SNSD in my mind. It's just the tempo and the music, I'm not much about SME sound in general. Last song I truly truly loved and still listen often from SME is Venus from Boa.

I always enjoy Lyn's cover versions. I would love to have an album filled with all the amazing ones she's done on Sketchbook or anywhere else :o) I often wonder if she has been involved in the actual arrangement or not. If so I'm well impressed!!

Generally I enjoy Lyn's covers and she has again made me love her cover much more than the original. Being honest though, I really still dislike the original, the song does nothing to me.
