Shinhwa‘s comeback concert ‘The Return’ sold out all 20,000 seats in 40 minutes, making a whopping income of two billion won (~$1,780,000 USD)!

An insider revealed, “Shinhwa held their last concert in 2008 for their ten year anniversary. Four years later, they filled all 20,000 seats, setting a new record … After 40 minutes of sale, all of the tickets were sold out and the profit from ticket sales was roughly two billion won.”

Shinhwa’s leader and Shinhwa Company representative Eric said, “We are very grateful to our fans who have beautifully decorated our comeback after four years. We will present a magnificent stage for our fans who have waited a long time for us.”

Their concert is to be held on March 24 and 25 at the Seoul Olympic Stadium to celebrate the fourteen-year mark since Shinhwa’s debut.

Yay! You go, Shinhwa! I'm glad the comeback is off to a great start :)

.... but not gonna lie, I'm still bitter I'm not rich enough to fly over there and attend the concert ;___;

I'm praying there will be at least one USA tour data. Please, Shinhwa. PLEASE!

There will definitely be a DVD! I'm almost 100% sure.

Get with your friends and make a group trip!

Skip hotels and instead get a room for all of you.
Food and transportation its really cheap tbh!

I considered that but it's still too much money for a two/three day trip. When I do go to Korea someday, I want to be able to spend at least a week or two there and really make the money/time worthwhile.

I love Shinhwa with all my heart but the cost is just not justifiable at this point in my life. *sigh* Just one more year of graduate school left...

Honestly, unless you're only visiting Seoul, one week in Korea isn't enough. Seoul is basically just a metropolitan city, it's the countryside that's the gem.

That's a good point! Sadly, this trip is so far away that I haven't really put any serious thought into how long I'll be going or where yet. It's just a fantasy for now...

I was trying to save up and I was pretty close, but then other plans came up. Hoping them make an LA or NYC stop, at least. ;-; we love you over here too, Shinhwa

I feel you! If life had gone according to my plans, I would have already been done with college by know and had a job. But instead here I am still up to my neck in loans :/

So far their tour only seems to be in Asia but maybe if enough people bug them on Twitter we can convince them to come to LA/NYC. Maybe someone should organize a spam ShinhwaCompany/Liveworks/OpenWorld campaign?

OMG my friend got us crappy seats for both dates. Crying tears of blood tbh ugh.
It's really hard to fight for tickets with korean people and their super sonic internet connection :(

Great for Shinhwa. :) Although I hope one day I'll be able to see Shinhwa even though I'm all the way down in Hawaii. Fly to the Sky and Shinhwa got me into kpop... I managed to go to a FTTS concert in 2008, but no Shinhwa yet. ;___;

I'm not surprised this happened, to be honest. Sigh. I really want to go. It fit perfectly in Spring Break too. I HAVE TO GO TO ONE IN MY LIFETIME. Then I can die happy

According to Open World Ent (who is working with Shinhwa Company to set up the tour) there will be a "10-city Asia tour that includes China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan"

They're still working on the contracts for the Southeast Asia part of the tour so that's why they haven't made an official announcement yet.
