T-ara member, Jiyeon recently revealed her group’s busy work schedule, showing some frustration.

On a recent broadcast of MBC TV‘s ‘Joo Byung Jin Talk Concert‘, Jiyeon appeared as a guest. Many agencies enforce dating bans on their idols and Jiyeon was asked if there was such a ban for T-ara. Ji-Yeon revealed, “T-ara doesn’t have such regulations.”

However, the idol insisted that it’s nearly impossible for her group to go on dates despite the lax rules.

She continued, “However, [our agency] doesn’t give us the time. They cram tons of activities into our schedules and say we can date if we can find the time. The most activities I had in one day was twelve. At first I thought, ‘How can I finish all of this?’, but then found myself completing them anyway. I didn’t see my family members for months because we were so busy. After our debut, I’ve never attended school properly. My friends only see me as a celebrity and not really as a friend.”

i rly dont understand.. bc i mean they're obviously not happy. they don't like their company. they talk bad about their company.. bc i mean they're being honest and things r rly bad. i'd think they'd lie or some shit like that like most idols do. i feel t-ara r one of the idols who've gone through most shit after-debut behind the scenes/inside the company B( i think ccm is one of the shadiest companies too.

Or I wonder, given how shady CCM seems if they have some dirt on the girls that keeps them in line in spite of how miserable and overworked they seem. (Probably have their moms tied up in a basement somewhere. Do this variety show or we send you a finger.)

Yeah, at this point if it's really that bad, they need to band together and do something about it instead of constantly complaining and waiting until their company works them to the point of mental and physical exhaustion. I know it's easier said than done, but nothing is going to change if people within the entertainment industry don't start really stepping up and taking action. There really is no other choice but to deal with it or do try to do something about it.

the thing is that there's 7 girls in this group and all of them probably have a different way of thinking.

maybe one of them doesnt care about fame anymore and wants it all to be over, but another one values her fame 2 much 2 let it go. one of the girls might feel like the first one but then another girl is just 2 afraid to do anything.

We are ALL aware that it's by no means easy to sue and leave CCM, however it is natural, seeing how overworked the girls are, that fans wish for T-ara to do that. It's not wrong, fans are concerned, otherwise they wouldn't be fans. It is fact that the girls are talking about it while being still in the company, because they are scared of blacklisting. I'm not even thinking OP is insensitive with that title, she clearly but parts into "". Personally I didn't even get the title to be a sarcastic comment on the issue.

korea must be really fucked-up to not see the blatant abuse. thee girls are crying out for help and no one is doing anything...they have death petitions for someone who "bad mouths" the country but when someone is screaming for help no one lifts a finger. international fans should really voice their opinions since kpop is going "global", that would get someone's attention. if the international fans that the industry wants so much were against something i'm sure this would change.

this is one big ole fucked up cycle that can't easily be helped once started. I mean you start training giving up part of your life then debut. during debut you try to work as hard as you can to be noticed and popular. Once you are there's no slowing down you need to do more than before since A- there's a higher demand for you by the fans and B- you don't want to lose the popularity. Now yes the company has it's faults in it cause they should know when to let their assets get some rest etc but when there's an overwhelming demand for the product you can't just let the fans down by denying them it. This also means some blame should to the fans cause they attend all of these events and watch all of the shows. and it's not like they can pick or choose what they want to watch because if you skip out on concerts/events and leave them a empty crowd the company makes 2 choices work them harder or push them to the side and release the next product. 1st one is faster track to the artists deathbed and 2nd is for the products deathbed all in which the fandoms don't want or intend. They need to honestly make a line they won't cross from the beginning known to fans(though this can be a problem) and company else the cycles going to continue like this for a while.

I want them to be in every show!!!" and the cycle continues. for the idols, who have worked for years for this chance at fame, they must seize it when they have it...

Maybe I'm a bitch, but I'm annoyed by these posts about t-ara's treatment and the fans who act like this is the worst thing to ever happen to a person. Certainly, no person deserves to be abused- idol or not. But there are millions of people who work in much worse conditions or are completely without employment. I know it sounds like it, but I'm not negating their experience, just putting it into perspective. Of all the crazy netizens up in arms about this, how many are actually taking a stand for the millions of ordinary people in similar or worse conditions?

Fans should definitely be concerned by the poor treatment of their idols, but to be venomously attacking others who disagree or acting like the world is ending is a bit much.

My father has two full-time jobs, sometimes doesn't get any sleep and if he does, it's about 3.5 hours. He has debt he must pay off and thousands of dollars of medical fees that he must pay out of pocket because he has no health insurance. That's not even the crazy part, the crazy thing is that his situation isn't even that unusual. There are bigger things happening at home that warrant my concern, I suppose, than these little girls.

Some of you are being insensitive as fuck tbh.

They are all really young and still learning how to deal with everything around them. All the stress and overwork can't be good on their mental and physical health. I mean they catch two-three hours of sleep on good days and I even noticed while watching WGM how Eunjung will try to get some sleep wherever she can out of exhaustion. This whole "oh tough it up", "stop complaining", and "people have it worse" shouldn't mean they have to put up with it because in the long run they're the ones that will have to pay for the years they abused their health.

I honestly hope their company stops this shit and gives them their well earned break. They've topped charts, won several awards, and have went on too many shows to name, it's time they take a breather. You'd think these companies would have learned from all these other idols suing their company after being constantly mistreated, but of course not.
