Jessica praised for her acting in Wild Romance

Jessica is in the limelight once again as her acting skills in the drama production "Wild Romance" earned favorable responses from its viewers. On the past few episodes, Jessica's acting was a hot topic amongst its viewers after she displayed her romantic side while filming intimate scenes with her co-actor Lee Dongwook.

However, on the show's latest episode, Jessica was able to display a different side of herskills as she portrayed the darker side of her character. Jessica plays the role of Kang Jonghee, an ex-girlfriend of Lee Dongwook's character Park Mooyul. Having been diagnosed with bipolar disorder in the previous episodes, causing her to leave Dongwook's character in the past, Jessica's character was able to witness a terrible event causing her to have a fit. The scene changed from Jessica having a seizure, shivering until her character wasn't able to breathe.

Viewers who have watched the episode immediately left comments such as, “Jessica’s acting proves she worked hard,” and “I felt bad for Jonghee who is suffering from bipolar disorder.”

not really tho. i've seen tons more comments being disappointed with her acting, which makes sense because jessica's not really all that good on top of the fact the pds have made her role wayyy bigger than it needs to be (probs because of the dismal ratings). :/ The Moon that Embraces the Sun is killing everybody else in that time slot- 40% vs WR's 3%.

she's not very stiff, forced, or awkward, but her acting is not natural either. when she's screaming/shivering i can tell she's thought it through, but she's not into the scene and baring her emotions... not i wasn't expecting her to either as she just doesn't have much experience.

Guys, you do realize she's a rookie, right? They're not calling her the next Song Hyegyo or whatever, they're praising her based on the fact that she's never really acted before. Of course she's not going to be perfect. She's quite awkward in places and you can tell that her actions are carefully rehearsed at other times, but considering a) the storyline she's working with here (lmao) and b) the fact that it's her first real job, I can see where the praise is coming from. For a newbie, she pulled off the emotion involved in that scene incredibly well - much better than other rookies I've seen.

off topic but: when they were talking about the whole disorder thing, I thought it was the guy who had the disorder. In the second screencap, I was like "why is she happy, and he's angry?" But after watching the clips of her acting parts, I was like: "OOOOOOOOOh, she's actually crying............whoops"
