Korean Artists @ 26th Japan Gold Disc Awards

The 26th Japan Gold Disc Awards were presented in Roppongi on Friday. The awards, which were established in 1987, are based on actual CD and DVD sales, so it comes as no surprise that the Artist of the Year was idol group AKB48. They ended up receiving a total of 10 awards, tying for the all-time record that Arashi set two years ago.

Did BEAST even do well in Japan? I would think not, but I could be wrong since I don't really follow them anymore. Wasn't their album all remakes or something?
