miss A’s Suzy and Kara’s Kang Ji Young Prove Plastic Surgeries are Unnecessary

On January 13, childhood photos of miss A’s Suzy and Kara’s Kang Ji Young surfaced online. Suzy’s childhood photo was posted on a local online community board under the title, “Suzy’s elementary school photo.” In the photo, Suzy is seen wearing a tiger hat and making a cute “V” sign with her hand. Her playful expression is slightly different from her current image, but her “porcelain-like” skin and big eyes are the exact same as now.








Kara’s Kang Ji Young revealed her childhood photo through the January 14 episode of KBS “Invincible Youth 2.” (KBS pre-released the photo prior to airing the show). Kang Ji Young’s adorable smile and hand gesture, and her facial features impressed everyone on the set. “From all the childhood photos, Kang Ji Young’s garnered the most interest because she looks exactly the same as now. Her innocent impression made all the guests smile at her,” an official from KBS said.



These two photos prove that not all K-Pop celebrities get plastic surgeries (not that it’s a bad thing). What other celebrity childhood photos have impressed you in the past?

think of it as beauty augments. the next leap forward in the human evolutionary chain.

in the future where human and machine become one, the idea of supplementing one's own human body with that of science will be the main conscientiousness. we will break free from our feeble human shells and embrace what we have created, surpassing anything that evolution could do!

people who get plastic surgery only recognize that the human body is a mere shell, one that can be torn apart and one that can be augmented and made into more than it is now! what they do with plastic and silicon we will do in the future with titanium alloys.

Articles like this must really screw with the self-esteem of people who actually have had plastic surgery, especially idols. It's like if you don't fit the image of what's considered pretty or you simply have something about yourself you want to change so you get plastic surgery but you're still not considered as good as someone who is 'naturally pretty'. You would think that with plastic surgery being so prevalent they wouldn't give it such a negative connotation all the time.

I don't like plastic surgery. Its existence disgusts me. But I don't condemn women for getting it, because- how the fuck could I?!
We praise ~natural beauty~ and put it on a pedestal, like it's an accomplishment of some sort.

My mom lived in korea 10+ years ago and eyelid surgery was popular back then !!! She always thought it was weird cuz she never thought about eyelids that way before... so I guess now is even more popular since the procedure would cost less than it did back then~
I have nothing against plastic surgery but I personally would be really scared to do anything to my face and be the unlucky one who gets messed up :/
