Will.i.am: 2NE1 Is Coming Out Crazy!

They're coming out! With a new album, that is. Read on as the power group collaborates with big-time producer and Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am.

The development of 2ne1's highly-anticipated U.S. debut album, done in collaboration with producer and Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am, is going very well. Or in the words of Will.i.am himself, "2ne1 is coming out crazy!"


As early as 2009, the musician already expressed his interest in producing an album for the K-Pop girl group. And in 2011, things fell into place as he met with 2ne1 several times, and spoke with YG‘s CEO Yang Hyun Suk and YG’s main producer, Teddy, back in May to formally discuss 2ne1′s U.S debut album.

2ne1 is the latest addition in Will.i.am's list of notable collaborations which includes high-profile artists like Usher, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears and Rihanna, to name a few.

In an interview with Cambio, Will.I.Am revealed, “We are carefully working to turn 2NE1 into superstars not only in Korea, but everywhere in the world.”

Pending completion, the album may be released this year.

I'm so excited!! I cannot wait for this, I will lose my effin mind. They will probably be the first and only pop concert that I attend.

Hipster CL! xD I wish Dara didn't look so discarded off to the side... I think it would be cool if they got her rapping a bit more on this because when she does her kind-of-sort-of mini raps in their korean tracks, she actually sounds kinda good. She also doesn't have a bad voice when they actually give her the time of day.
