omonatheydidB1A4 sings “Sky” for ‘Take Care of Us, Captain’ OST
B1A4 has participated in the OST for SBS‘s new drama, ‘Take Care of Us, Captain‘.The boys were given the opportunity to sing its main title track, a position not often given to rookie idol groups. Producers felt that B1A4 would fit admirably, and so they gave them the song ‘Sky‘, which airs with the drama’s pilot episode on January 4th.
Co-produced by composer Jo Min Sung and director Louie (who’s known for his work with the ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal‘ OST), ‘Sky’ creates a synergistic effect with B1A4′s sweet voices and the drama’s sky high theme.
Producers stated, “Right from the production stage of the drama, B1A4 was considered for the OST. We had a lot of anticipation for them and we’re sure that their sweet but powerful voices will create a great musical effect on the drama.”

B1A4 Heats Up Hongdae
Hongdae, being a hotspot for celebrity guerrilla performances, it is common to see stars having surprise events in the area…but during winter? and 7 degrees below zero? B1A4 fans did not mind the freezing cold outside as they still rushed and conquered the area.
Roughly 2 hours before their visit to Hongdae, B1A4 surprised their fans with several tweets. Here are the tweets in order
Jinyoung: “B1A4 will go to Hongdae!!! Please come to Hongdae now~~!! Then he tweeted again saying “Let’s meet at Hongdae playground at 4pm~~!! I wanna see you all♥”
C.NU: “Please come and wear warm clothes~~~”
Baro: “We’re going to the bus stop to depart (for Hongdae)!! But we don’t know how to go there.” With a picture of him and C.NU.
Jinyoung: “Everyone! Today’s really cold so please come with your warm clothes~~!!
Baro: “Everyone, please tell us directions from Kwangheung station to Hongdae!! ㅜㅜ” Knowing that B1A4 members are non-Seoul natives, getting on buses might be a little bit tricky even though the said station is very close to Hongdae.
Jinyoung: “Now we’re on the subway going to Hongdae~~~!! With a photo of him and Gongchan. Apparently the group was separated using two different modes of transportation going to their destination.
Baro: “Yeah~!! Finally we got into the bus and we arrived in Hongdae!!” With a picture of him and C.NU inside the bus. Other member, Sandeul, did not give any updates so his whereabouts at that time was a mystery.
Groups of young fangirls and fanboys flocked Hongdae area after reading B1A4’s tweets. If you do not go to Hongdae that much you would not know where to find what Jinyoung had tweeted “Hongdae playground.” They asked people around for directions but when they reached the spot, many fans were already all over the area waiting for the boys.
Things started to heat up when the group arrived as fans screamed the place down while raising their cameras and placards. You could see hands shaking due to the frigid temperature but it did not stop them from taking videos and pictures.
So what was B1A4 doing in Hongdae? It appears that the group was filming for Mnet Wide. As a promising rookie group, they will be featured in one of the episodes showing how they are coping with their hectic schedules and different challenges. The guerrilla performance they did in Hongdae was a mission. And it seems that B1A4’s ever-supportive fans helped the group made the mission a success.

Wow that must have been a cold experience all round but judging by the number of fans at least they wouldn't feel quite so cold in that squishy crowd ;o) hehe. The boys are so cute in their selcas!!
