Girl group 4minute revealed their strong motivation for their promotion activities in 2012.

During a press conference held on December 26th in Lotte Hotel, Sogongdong, Seoul, they told the reporters, "We will come to the audience not as the 'best' but as the 'only'."

4minute has been busy promoting in Japan and attending various events after their 'Heart to Heart' and 'Mirror Mirror' promotion activities back in March and April. They have also taken part in their family concerts all around the world. However, their innumerous fans were disappointed that their promotion actitivies in 2011 did not last long.

Heo Gayoon revealed that their new album was currently in the making and she revealed another important point. "We have been trying hard to find our very own color since 'Hot Issue'. We wanted to pursue something else rather than gaining popularity."

Maknae Kwon Sohyun added, "Our motto is 'ONLY rather than BEST'. We want to be the only rather than the best. We want to be recognized for our very own color."

4minute talked about the heat for K-Pop they experienced in Brazil and in the UK.

4minute's Sohyun asserted, "I could feel, once again, that their (fans in Brazil and London) feelings for us were the same as the Korean fans'."

She also pointed out a difference, "I could see that many of them recorded our performances because they can't see us live often."

Gayoon revealed her personal thought on why foreign fans love K-Pop. "I think they're loving the dance moves that are easy to follow and the lyrics that are easy to sing along."

Hyunah, who is busy with group, solo, and subunit promotions, said with a smile, "I wanted to show people that 'I also have this kind of side', so I'm happy that I could show some different images of myself."

Gayoon revealed her ambitions, "We want to build our very own color rather than our popularity."

Meanwhile, during the press conference held on that day, Cube Entertainment artists shared their impressions about the concerts in London and Brazil and the agency's plans for 2012 were revealed.

4minute will be making their comeback in January.

They're now done with the album, and will be making a comeback in January with a new album. Cube Entertainment CEO Hong Seungseong revealed the news on 26th December at a press conference.

With the comeback date confirmation, Hyunah will be spending more and more busy days. Hyunah is currently promoting 'Trouble Maker' with BEAST's Jang Hyunseung. They're gaining popularity for their radical performance, and is currently doing well in charts. They also won #1 place in some music programs.

CEO Hong Seungseong said sorry towards Hyunah for making her work restlessly, and revealed that their 2012 comeback is for 4minute's big development.
