NHK has just revealed the song list for the 55 artists appearing on the “62nd Kohaku Uta Gassen“!
This year’s theme is “Ashita wo Utaou” (“Let’s sing for tomorrow”), which aims to spread positive thoughts to a country still rocked by the aftermath of the Tohoku earthquake and subsequent tsunami. The theme also seeks to begin the new year with a fresh hope.
“Kohaku Uta Gassen” will air on December 31st starting at 7:15 p.m. JST.
Red Team:
KARA – “KARA 2011 Special Medley”
Shoujo Jidai – “GENIE”
White Team:
Tohoshinki – “Why? (Keep Your Head Down)”
