The 7 member male K-pop group U-KISS performed for their Japanese debut event in Kanagawa’s Lazona Kawasaki Plaza on the 17th.
They just debuted with their original Japanese track, “Tick Tack” on the 14th.
They had a good takeoff with 3rd place (dated from 13th) on the Oricon Daily Ranking.
While the 6,000 fans gave passionate cheers, they sang two songs. For the talk corner, the subject was, “What wish they want Santa to grant them”, leader Soohyun (22) wished with a loud voice, “Grandfather Sa~nta! We want to become number one on the Oricon Chart!”. Dongho (17) wished, “I want to become fluent in Japanese quickly so that we can appear a lot on variety programs and such. Please give me a smart brai~n”, which made the fans laugh.
They held an on spot interview at the middle of the event, Soohyun thanked fans for their support, “My heart is really warm because we can be together with all the fans. I love you”.
Dongho said, “To be honest, before our debut, I was being really worried, but after the debut, the number of fans kept increasing, their love was increasing, so my worries went away. Now, I’m really happy” and smiled sweetly.
Their first nation-wide tour has been decided, they will begin at zepp Sapporo on March 2nd 2012, and have performances in 6 towns. Kevin (20) said to the crowd, “Since we will be preparing many different appearances and stages with all our might, please come see us in great number”.
