4minute’s Jihyun on her rising fame as an actress

4minute‘s Jihyun, who’s currently starring in MBC‘s weekend drama ‘A Thousand Kisses‘, recently opened up about her rising fame as an actress.

She revealed, “Ever since I’ve been acting in the drama, I’ve received a lot more attention from mothers. I feel the love of my fans when I’m given a lot of side dishes at restaurants by the mothers that work there.”

Jihyun continued, “I think both singers and actors must always work hard without end to make sure they’re loved. I’m going to do whatever it takes to be acknowledged in both industries and always try my best at every opportunity I’m given.”

Asked to describe her character ‘Sua’, she said, “Sua’s a cute and lovely maknae daughter who becomes jealous of her new stepsister Jumi. Ryu Jin (who plays the role of Sua’s brother) is also so hardworking that I’m sure he’ll do well as both an actor and singer.”
