I really think 2ne1 is the only kpop band that can make it in America. They fit the current style and they're great performers. As long as Bom's voice get better.
omg she's so precious. And I really didn't think she was that fluent, what a pleasant surprise. also the sound-lag always makes these kinds of interviews hilarious.
The time delay seems to be the reason for the awkwardness. Anyway, it's great 2NE1 will get some more exposure through this and her eyesmile is so cute like at 2:25.
The English interviews can be awkward, but I give more props to CL since English is not her 1st langauge. Plus, the time delay seems to be the source of the awkwardness. At one point he repeats what CL said and there are pauses after she answers.
I don't think the interview itself was awkward. She answered truthfully and thoughtfully. What makes it awkward is the time lag, the lack of synch and the guy's accent. She actually did a great job and her smile is amazing. ♥

She has to work on her English more if she's gonna be interviewed by more English news outfits in the near future now that 2NE1 just landed a spot on being a Kpop representative.
It's clearly the time delay is on the BBC side of the feed because right after he asks a question she responds. But after she is done it takes a long time for him to respond back. So for me their is no real problem with this interview. She did a good job, her english is better then I thought it would be.
um do you really think american teens will eat them up? have you seen our teens? we think we the shit. we are the shit cuz we have tv shows about how crazy we are.
Either her English has improved, or she's a lot better than I thought. Hopefully they've ALL been working on their English for the America debut. But as things are looking now, they're in pretty good standing.
CL's accent is all that it needs to be and more. You can definitely tell where she gets her influence from.
