SM Entertainment's singers are releasing a SMTOWN winter album for the first time in 4 years.

On the 6th SM Entertainment revealed that they are releasing 2011 SMTOWN Winter 'The Warmest Gift' on the 13th. In this album, which is being released for the first time in 4 years following 2007, 7 new songs and 4 carol remakes are included.

With Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, TRAX, CSJH Dana&Sunday, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), Zhang Liyin, and J-min participating, Super Junior has been chosen as the Santa who will deliver gifts. Super Junior sang the title song "Santa U Are The One," TVXQ sang "Sleigh Ride," and SHINee sang "Last Christmas."

Girls' Generation will reveal new song "Diamond," and f(x) will present fans with a greeting with "1, 2, 3" for which they collaborated with Peppertones. BoA chose R&B ballad song "Distance" and Kangta will greet fans for the first time in a while with new song "For The First Time."

Meanwhile 2011 SMTOWN winter album can be seen in Japan on the 14th.

More info: the entire album is in English. There is no SMTOWN group song, and as stated in the article the title track is Super Junior's "Santa U Are The One" instead. TRAX's song is just an English version of "Like a Dream" from their recent mini album, Zhang Liyin is singing "The First Noel," CSJH Dana&Sunday are singing a pop ballad titled "Amazing," and J-min is singing "Happy X-Mas" which is originally by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Pretty much my response. I'm an SM fan through and through - I adore TRAX, SNSD, Zhang Liyin, f(x), Kangta, and BoA - but it's getting harder and harder to not be supremely bitter about the way HenMi are shoved aside all the time.
