Troublemaker's HyunA and Hyunseung Criticized for Raunchy Choreography

4minute’s HyunA and BEAST’s Hyunseung (a.k.a. Troublemaker) have heated up discussions among fans with their new, racy choreography. The duo performed a hot debut stage on Sunday’s episode of “Inkigayo,” performing “Troublemaker” and “The Words I Don’t Want to Hear.”  
 
For their debut stage, HyunA wore a skin-tight silver minidress that flaunted her flawless body, while Hyunseung wore a wine-colored velvety suit. However, the wardrobes were not what shocked both fans and viewers alike, but their racy choreography.
 
HyunA and Hyunseung brought down the house with a shocking choreography that involved excessive amounts of physical contact between the two artists for their title track "Troublemaker." Throughout the choreography, Hyunseung would graze HyunA’s thighs and rub their hips together.
 
Netizens showed mixed responses and rushed to comment on the show’s website regarding the performance. Many criticized, “It was too raunchy,” “It was embarrassing to watch with other family members,” “I didn’t know where to look,” “It’s too much for television,” while others commented, “They should be free to perform however they wish.”
 
Meanwhile, Troublemaker made headlines with their steamy kiss on stage at the “2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards” on November 29.

It wasn't sexy to me. It looked dull and boring.
But i know that those programs' main audience is really young so as a slightly conservative country i understand.

it may've been a BIT much for a family audience, but still.

also, SERIOUSLY getting annoyed with how people are criticizing the entertainers themselves, when they're usually NOT the ones in charge of the choreography.

Frankly I'm more put off by the fact that she keeps having to actively yank her dress back down while she's performing. Not that she doesn't look good in it, but if they'd put her in something a few inches longer she'd still look gorgeous and she'd probably be less self-conscious about where her skirt is. It sort of ruins the choreography for me right off the bat, if her persona is supposed to be a gives-no-fucks sexpot.

The only thing that really bothered me a whole lot about their perf was the part on the top left in that photo, but that's more of a personal space and boundaries thing as opposed to being racy or raunchy. I mean, I personally dnw someone pawing around my crotch like that unless I dig them and we're somewhere private, you feel me?

The only part of the choreography I don't like is the move on the top left. His hand does not need to be that close to her lady business. It just bothers me.

But then again, this is not the performers' fault. Someone choreographed and someone else approved it. And then they taught it to Hyunseung and Hyuna.

It's just embarrassing that they are trying so hard to give Hyuna this raunchy image. I have nothing at all against being raunchy if you want and flaunting what you've got, but the way they are presenting her just feels tacky and weird because it's so forced and they clearly haven't realized there is more to being sexy and provocative than tight/short clothing and gyrating and touching yourself.

And you can tell she's uncomfortable in that dress, she is constantly having to pull it down.

Tbh, I feel sorry for Hyuna - she looked hot in that dress but it was NOT made for dancing in. The poor girl was so obviously uncomfortable wearing it from the way she kept tugging it down throughout the performance.

Also, the amount of slut-shaming going on in some of those youtube/allkpop comments is alarming.

i liked the choreo, my issue with it was that i was paying more attention to the backup dancers than them, when they were the only ones in the stage i was bored.

i just can't see them having chemistry as a couple/duo, i feel like each one of them danced with a backup dancer would be better than them dancing together.
