Defconn meets the Wonder Girls for the first time

Hip Hop icon Defconn displayed his excitement after meeting Wonder Girls for the first time, sharing a photo of the experience.

On November 30th, the rapper shared the photo above on his official Twitter and wrote, “The real thing! They have appeared!”

The photo captured the Wonder Girls, Jung Hyung Don, and Defconn standing side by side, engaging in conversation. The girls and Jung Hyung Don look rather calm, but a flushed Defconn excitedly threw a ‘V’ for the camera, evoking much laughter from his followers.

Netizens who saw the photo responded with comments such as, “It’s your lucky day! Haha“, “Is there a Christmas concept? Your red ensembles looks nice“, “I can just feel how excited you are by looking at the photo“, and more.

The Wonder Girls members are actively promoting their new full-length album ‘Be My Baby‘ and on the 27th, the girls took home a win for #1 Mutizen song on SBS Inkigayo.

Sunye sheds tears talking about her beloved fans

On the November 29th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘, Wonder Girls leader Sunye remarked, “The reason why we were able to return to Korea was because of the loyal support from our fans. We really missed promoting in Korea.”

She continued, “We all spent numerous sleepless nights preparing for this album. And it wasn’t just us, but our staff members also really wanted us to be able to make a successful comeback and therefore helped us tremendously.”

“We’re still young but I think we experienced a lot of things and learned a lot as well,” Sunye reflected. “I’m thankful that I’ve learned to simply know how to be thankful. There’s a lot I missed because we received so much love in such a short amount of time. The fact that there were people waiting for us to return is such a blessing and a joy,” she finished as she shed the tears she had been holding back.

Entertainer Boom then displayed his wit by changing the atmosphere on set saying, “CEO J.Y. Park, if you are watching, please stop sending the Wonder Girls to America,” which caused everyone on set to laugh.

Wonder Girls’ Sohee apologizes to Lee Seung Gi

Wonder Girls member Sohee who guest-featured on the November 29th episode of SBS ‘Strong Heart‘ shared a story about how she ran into MC Lee Seung Gi at the gym.

“When I go to the gym, I like to dress comfortably without wearing any makeup. Plus, my face tends to swells up a lot in the morning,” she began.

“I rushed to the gym one morning with absolutely no makeup on and I just happened to run into top Hallyu star Lee Seung Gi“, she continued.

“I couldn’t even look him straight in the face and I was so embarassed that I was a bit hostile when he tried to talk to me“, she said, trying to clear up any misunderstandings.

Wonder Girls Sunye: “I made the first move”

Wonder Girls‘ leader Sunye confessed that she made the first move with her current boyfriend.

On the November 29th episode of ‘Strong Heart‘, Sunye remarked, “I’m very cautious and I give things a lot of thought before making a decision, but once I feel strongly about something, I don’t like to hide it“.

MC Lee Seung Gi then followed up with, “Who confessed their feelings first?”, to which Sunye responded, “I did“, shocking the other guests on set.

“I didn’t want to brag about my relationship, I just wanted to share the good news with the people I love,” she continued. “I hope everyone will be happy for me“.

Wonder Girls to release "k-food party" on december 

Although there is no official statement released, some sources has revealed informations announcing that the Wonder Girls will be releasing their new single "K-Food Party" on December 5th.

"K-food Party" is an English track with a simple melody and heavy electro-beats. This will be the theme song forKorean Agricultural Food Export that will focus on promoting Korean agricultural food products. 

According to an insider, "This song is different from other songs related to government-initiated events. There will be greater emphasis on the artists and we believe it will be well-liked by all".

Previously, Wonder Girls has been appointed as the ambassadors of Korean Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The theme song is specially created to optimize this promotions. It will also highlight Korea's fresh healthy agricultural production, and at the same time, able to showcase Wonder Girls' distinct colors.
