T-ara’s Jiyeon cast for ‘Dream High 2′!

The star-studded cast for the upcoming KBS production ‘Dream High 2‘ has been generating widespread excitement as of late, and the latest idol to step into the highly-anticipated drama will be none other than T-ara‘s Jiyeon!

With several acting gigs already under her belt, Jiyeon will bring her acting talents over to her new role, which has yet to be specified. The casting was decided at a meeting with the producers last weekend.

“Although I’m already busy with domestic and foreign promotions, after reading the synopsis for ‘Dream High 2′ I decided to take it because it was a role that I wanted to play. I wanted to relive memories of my trainee days and as a hardworking student before it was too late,” she said. “I’ll be putting a lot of effort into it, so please be expecting it.”

Just when I was about to give up on DH2 due to the other 2 cast members, this beautiful angel came to save the day. She has what it takes to be the lead. <333 I didn't expect another member of T-ara to be in DH! This gives me hope that I will like the additional cast members too.

idc what people say, DH was amazing, they got your over-used cliche and made it really good and i loved the fact that the lead female wasn't a innoncet little land that allowed people to screw her up all the time.

as much i HATE jiyeon as an idol i freaking love her as an actress.

however this news for soem reason don't make me happy, because i feel like the PDs are not really trying, i mean they promised me all those rookies and a reality show to find a star for the show and were is it? also, they casted another oneday member (jinwoon), now another t-ara member, i won't be surprised if min ends up being casted in this too seeing the pattern.

also, she throws away the balance of the remaining cast, seeing that she is the only baby faced one (as she should seeing that she IS playing a hs student), more than never hyorin and ailee will look like ahjummas.
