f(x)’s Amber reveals her full name on ‘Invincible Youth 2′

f(x)‘s Amber has finally revealed her full name!

On November 12th’s episode of ’Invincible Youth 2‘,
the new ‘G8′ cast members met up for the first time. While chatting on
their way to the village of Daebu-do, the members realized that they
didn’t know Amber’s full name.

Amber divulged, “In hanja [Chinese characters], my name is Liu Yi Yun (劉逸雲).” She then revealed that her full English name was ‘Amber Josephine Liu’.

The host of the show, Lee Soo Geun, commented, “It sounds like a name given to a neighbourhood bully,” causing everyone in the bus to laugh.

Amber added, “I also have a Korean name that my friends called me with in the States — ‘Eunyoung.’

Meanwhile, the ‘G8′ cast members — miss A‘s Suzy, KARA‘s Kang Jiyoung, Rainbow‘s Go Woori, Jewelry‘s Yewon, SISTAR‘s Bora, and SNSD‘s Sunny and Hyoyeon — brought in a 7% viewership rating with this first episode, according to AGB Nielsen Media Research.

IY2 was awesome tbh, i didn't expect to enjoy the G8 as a whole this much.

amber was super especially in the beginning with suzy, ngl i'm really going to enjoy the maknae line, it's just a shame that during the first episode she really couldn't stay because of her cina and taiwan promotions.

but i can't wait for next week, mud wrestling, more giant maknaes romance, hyo being awesome!

Amber's said that dressing like a boy is easy maintenance for her, so hopefully that's how she feels and she kanyeshrugs everyone because uh...she sure as hell got the loudest cheers at SMTown NYC. I mean, every time she moved or smiled, everyone started screaming their heads off. Godber is real.

Chu. La Cha Ta. Nu ABO, Mr. Boogie, Danger, Hot Summer. Godber brings all the boys and girls. Rather she's in casual clothes or done up, Amber will always be beautiful and amazing. I just think it's unnecessary to point her out as a boy every. single. time. she's on a show. Get new material.

Also, I think it's ridiculous to impose a definition of "male" wear on Amber when men's fashion has been getting creative. For example, off the shoulder shirts and tops that can be labeled as halter. Clothes are a style, Amber looks like Amber in some skinny jeans, boots and a plain t-shirt. As well as in a skirt or a dress. I'm done.
