SNSD's Jessica addresses dating rumors with Taecyeon

SNSD's Jessica honestly opened up about the dating rumors between herself and 2PM's Taecyeon.

The November 9th episode of MBC Golden Fishery - Radio Star was a Musical Star special, and stars like Park Hyemi, Lim Tae Kyung, and SNSD's Jessica, Taeyeon, and Tiffany guest-starred on the episode.

The MCs questioned Jessica about her relationship with 2PM's Taecyeon, as they have been frequently spotted together throughout the city.

In regards to the paparazzi photos she said, "We're just friends. He's a very close oppa of mine."

When they continued to ask if the two of them meet alone, she explained, "The article made it seem like it was a date, but we aren't in a relationship that we're trying to make public. We're just good friends, and yes, we meet alone."

Jessica continued to beat the dead horse by repeating, "Ock Taecyeon and I are just friends. We figured the rumors are already spreading, so there's no need to hide our friendship. We meet up very comfortably and we're not really conscious about what others think anymore... it's not often I meet up with friends, so I guess when I do, it becomes a big deal."

"You know how I know it wasn't a date?", MC Yoon Jong Shin asked. "Taec was dressed way too sloppy," he hilariously joked.


Taeyeon clarifies SNSD's attitude misconceptions on Radio Star

On the November 9th episode of MBC Golden Fishery - Radio Star, The SNSD girls made a guest-appearance and clarified their attitude misconceptions.

The girls were caught dozing off and putting their heads in their hands on a popular American music program, which netizens criticized as unprofessional and disrespectful.

"The articles were so harsh and one-sided", leader Taeyeon said. Tiffany explained their situation by saying, "We were actually watching our MV being streamed. Our MV is actually a lot longer than we thought... and I think we appeared to be unprofessional, but we were actually really jetlagged and most of us had caught a cold as well"

"In the future, we will try to look a lot more cheerful when we watch our own MVs being played," she joked to offer some comical relief.


Jessica names Hyoyeon as the most popular SNSD member to foreign fans

The ladies of SNSD who are now international Hallyu stars recently spoke out on who they feel is the most popular member overseas.

On the episode of Golden Fishery - Radio Star that aired on the 9th, the MCs asked the girls, "Korea has their own individual tastes, and New Yorkers have their own styles as well. Which member had the most appeal to fans overseas?"

Member Jessica voted Hyoyeon as the most popular member.

"Hyoyeon went through a lot in the past," MC Kim Gura said, and Jessica further added, "Hyoyeon reacts well to the fans when they cheer her on. She gives back with her powerful dance moves... She connects really well with them."

Leader Taeyeon was asked the same question, but she instead chose member Sooyoung as the most popular member overseas.
