Woohyun's voice sounds really nice in Japanese! 8D And L... OMFG. <3 I don't like remade versions, but this one's pretty fine to my ears! :) Fighting, Infinite!
I think it's pretty good. Considering how remakes are rarely able to be as good as the original (and I have no idea what is horrible pronunciation or awkward phrasing in Japanese), This is pretty awesome stuff. Although it can't challenge the epicness of Korean BTD.
That said, the tiny problem I have with Infinite is their reliance on main vocals In every song Woogyu dominates more than half, Yadong almost the last half with L having one part of maybe 3 lines and Sungjong and Yeol like, sharing a line or at most 1 each. It's quite unbalanced, and it has been that way since their debut. I think woollim should try being more diverse, I'm sure the weaker vocals can sing for more than 5 seconds. Oh well it's only been a year, they'll probably be more evenly spread in future. One day they'll do a Wonder Girls and have the weaker vocals sing all the verse. Maybe.
Although this has nothing to do with the remake. Woohyun's Japanese makes his voice... higher. And L is awesome, his voice really suits Japanese I think <3
I'm pleased. It sounds nice in Japanese and more importantly, they did the rap in Japanese. I can't say how much it irks me when a kpop group does their rap in Korean. English is so so, but at least get it out of your own language. If you can't do that, then don't put out that song. It seems disrespectful to the Japanese fans or rather...lazy.
This!!! Omg I love Beast like Gordon Ramsay loves a good risotto but when their japanese songs hits the rap and it's all in korean, it pisses me off way too much for words. It's lazy. I don't find it disrespectful or anything but it's very very very lazy.
Sunggyu's japanese is just SO adorable! and hey, even thought I find the rap a mess, I'm happy it's in Japanese and not in Korean! BTD will forever be my jam!
I'm also really impressed that Dongwoo and Hoya both rapped in Japanese, it seems that a lot of groups are quite lazy with that and do the rap in either Korean or English. Props for their effort.
