Today, we will be interviewing Infinite’s Nam Woohyun. Because of their schedule, Woohyun showed up alittle late, but he greeted us by saying “Im really sorry for being late” in a sweet tone. So we said “It’s okay!”. Woohyun, after five weeks in

Q:”This week, you finally had your first victory! Why does it mean alot to you?
A:”It means alot to me to win 1st place! Competing with others and achieving 1st place, it was a great achievement.

Q:”You really wanted to win among the other performers.”
A:”I thought about representing

Q:”Infinite is active in music programs, events, and shows. You are undoubtedly busy. Do you have enough time to practice? There must be some difficulties with your group schedule.”
A:”It’s a lot to handle. The members practice, dance until the night, but I have to leave earlier. I feel sorry towards my group.”

Q:”Speaking of dancing, you dont fall behind your group right? The group’s main dancers are Hoya and Dongwoo. I was listening to the radio and by chance, I heard your group songs and your solo too.
A:”No! I dont fall behind them! I will show you the Paradise choreography once more!(Laughs) Radio… well, It’s hard for radio guestings, because we have to sing, I need to take care of my vocal cord nodules. It’s in bad condition so my voice was hoarse, I was really scared. But I tried not minding it. I’ve been singing alot even before that, so now I get therapy sessions

Q:”Out of the seniors, who do you want to be like?”
A:”All the seniors have greeat skill, especially Hong Kyung Min. Aside from singing, he can also do electronic guitar, and also play the harmonica. Sunbae(senior)’s eyes give off a vibe when on stage.

Q:”While in the waiting room when you won, was the mood good? I heard the seniors cheered you on!”
A:”Yes, everyone was happy. I am the youngest out of the cast and they took care of me a lot. They give me strength to strive for the better. Im thankful towards them”
Q:”I heard you control your emotions well. You left the waiting room without any tears until you went home.”
A:”When I burst in tears, it will come continuously. I try to avoid that. I laugh it off.”

Q:”Joining the
A:”It was surprising. It gave me more courage on stage when you look at them. I feel it in my heart. Also, it was a busy monday evening and they still took the time to go to come. Im grateful, I will never forget it. I want to throw hearts at them, hug them, I want to go down the stage!

Q:”When did you started singing?”
A:”Back in preschool, we had a talent show. I was shaking, but I won three 1st places! I remember it clearly. Im a good singer? Its the first moment I remember. And then in high school, that’s when I started thinking I wanted to be a musician. I learned music. I went around and started looking for auditions. But when you think you can do it, the ropes suddenly break. In our company, there were alot of members who came and went away.”

Q:”Epik High and Nell come from the same agency. There must be high expectations.”
A:”I was fully aware. I pledged to always concentrace during dance practice. I promised to work hard in the future towards the path of a singer.”

Q:”I heard you want to see a performance of Stevie Wonder?”
A:”Once again I’m sorry. It didnt happen because we had alot of schedule that day. Our CEO really felt sad(laugh). I watched an Epik High concert before.

Q:”Youre in the same agenct so it’s not surprising. Many people still want to see and hear you as a solo on
A:”Im growing alot in experience. When we have our solo concert I can be more confident. I can show more of myself on stage”

Q:”What are the reactions of your friends? Leader Sunggyu is also a main vocal but he did not mind not being in the show.
A:”No, he encourages me alot! He’s a real leader. He always tells me “I’m proud of you, do your best”

Q:”Ah! That is an idol’s answer right? It’s frustrating(laugh)
A:”No no! Sunggyu-hyung really tells it to me(laugh). He always monitors me. He points out “This part is great. But this part needs some work, Woohyun”. The members really make me work harder.”

Q:”You will continue on participating on contests on your own.”
A:”Yes. The experiences I had are invaluable. It was really fun, and I show a better side of myself.”

Q:”When you turn the lights off, what does it feel like”
A:”I dont even know. The mood of being alone in a room? I feel empty. I go home late, I go back home from school, that feeling. Going home alone without anybody to hug. I wanna see my mother. I feel so sorry for my parents. I want to visit them each saturday. My parents said not to worry about them, but as their kid, I always do.”
Q:”You wanted to take risks in your song choice”
A:”During the first stage, I lost and I felt disappointed to be in that position, did I do my best? Ah, Woohyun and I like that color, or that color. I have a wide variety of ideas for my performances.”

Q:”Ive heard Infinite is going to Japan”
A:”Without noticing it, we filled an entire auditorium for our Showcase. I really felt the love, we will debut in November.”

Q:”Infinite’s difference from the other groups is the great dance choreography. Who does the choreography?”
A:”We have a dance teacher in our company. He is Kim Dongmin, he is an amazing dancer. When making our choreography, he always asks for our opinions. He asks us “Do you guys like this? What do you think?” like that… We’re really thankful towards him.

Q:”Infinite is unique, because among the influx of idols, you guys survived. In addition, compared to your debut, you guys have grown immensely! You guys got better from before!”
A:”Yes. When we first debuted we had a few shows. It was hard, but we tried showing our fresh and different sides through our albums. Also our personalities show through our dance styles”

Q:”If your group didnt have promotions, I think you would have done better and could have stayed longer. It limits your ability somehow. But you’ve managed to win. It’s hard to win it right? I realized Huh gak might win.”
A:”I want to stay if allowed to. (as for winning) Anyone can win.”

Our interview ended. Woohyun hurried outside to prepare for the competition. I dont think it has settled yet. The comparison of Woohyun back when he just debuted and now.. His commitment to fulfill his busy schedule, his hardwork, we can all see it.

Nam Woohyun why are you so precious. I knew that the win would be as important to him as the dance battle win was to Hoya and Dongwoo. But this boys just does things to my insides and make me feels all fluttery and squishy and I just want to reach over and snuggle him forever ;u;

But the more I learn about him, I discovered that he's such a profound guy.
And him missing his mom T___T. His mom would be so happy.
But I bet she's worrying about his weight loss...he got so skinny >_<.
I'm surprised that he didn't know how to dance before.
It's amazing how well of a dancer he is...shows how much dedication he put in dancing.
I respect him so much more now.
