INFINITE Dongwoo interview on Hanryu Pia 30th November issue

WH: Finally I've become MC. This time we present the interview from Tokyo again. The guest is...

DW: This is the rapper of Infinite, Dongwoo!

WH: Last time we visited Japan for the purpose of holding a showcase, this time we came for our 1st concert, "Leaping Over". By the way, just before we came to Japan, our song "Be Mine" got 1st place on a music TV show! Dongwoo, how did you feel?

DW: It's only been our 1st anniversary since debut, we have only had one album...but we won 1st place! I can't believe this yet! When the MC called our name, Infinite, I spaced out for about 3 seconds. But then I realized little by little. I cried hard while holding the other members tight. Those dropped tears of mine weren't for sadness, but for Infintie's happiness. Woohyun cried hard too, right

WH: In fact, when we made our debut, I decided "I will never cry on stage before we get 1st place in a music TV show". But I couldn't keep cool and cried during our first fanmeeting. (LOL) And this time I shed too many tears. I'm easily moved to tears. I'm the man with a sentimental impression. But Sunggyu hyung never cried, you know. Because our leader had to say our feelings on behalf of the gro
up. Though I saw tears in his eyes. (LOL)

DW: He's a really good leader!

WH: In our first concert "Leaping Over" we didn't only show group singing and dancing, but also we had short performances played out by each of the members. You see, Dongwoo and Hoya performed a dance break show. That was one of the awesome highlights.

DW: When we dance as all seven of us, there are so many things I can't do as I would like. Our action is limited, we must adjust our choreography perfectly. So I feel a little bit like something is missing. Dancing with Hoya makes me feel excited, it is definitely different from group dancing. I can do free style dancing and I can freely express what I would like to the fans. Moreover, I feel as
if I can discover another unknown side of myself.

WH: Well, in my opinion, the most noticiable highlight of the concert was my solo song, "Time"!

DW: Uh-huh (LOL) Hey, to talk of our concert, Woohyun's fan service actions are becoming popular now. You have three kinds of actions, right? What's it look like?

WH: May I hand out my textbook about fan service to you and the other members? The key to success is to share a "heart" with all fans. While we share the same feeling, we can increase our love. (LOL) You know all the fans are my girlfriends.

DW: Wow, you have so many girlfriends! All over Asia! (LOL)

WH: Speaking of girlfriend, if you were a girl, then who would you want o date among the members of Infinite?

DW: I wanna say, nobody. (LOL)

WH: Though I chose Sunggyu hyung, I am fed up with his scolding....

DW: AH! I decided! I choose L! He's never bothered me. (LOL)

WH: Oh hey, in the first episode of this interview, L told me something to ask Dongwoo. "Why does Dongwoo put so many stuffed toys on his small bed?"

DW: Ahh, L always claims "cramped!" but our CEO took 20 out of my 22 stuffed toys. Then he put them in his house and car...(LOL) I just want to keep all my gifts by my side. Anyway, I wasn't very considerate of my roommate...L, I'm sorry.

WH: By the way, your roommate, L, is the worst sleeper. Have you ever been hurt by sleeping in the same bed?

DW: Yep. Once I woke up because I was punched. I usually never wake up once I fall asleep, but that made my eyes open. (LOL)

WH: Dongwoo is very patient? If I compare you, you're a "genius". Genius who pretends to be a fool. Genius who is full of cunning. Your cunning IQ rate is about 800 right?

DW: You're appreciating me? Or are you speaking ill of me? Woohyun is a mood maker. His existence is important so we should never lose it. I think everyone knows, he makes the atmosphere good since he stands in the middle.

WH: Hehehe. I'm glad you understand me. Now, let me hear the last question. What is Infinite for Dongwoo? L=family, Sungyeol=air, Hoya=ramen, and I answered lemon.

DW: Lemon? Why?

WH: It's fresh (*heart shape*)

DW: Inspirit. (immediate answer). Just like the infinite symbol “∞”, if Infinite stays on the left side and the Inspirit stay on the right side we always step forward together. We never get taken apart!

*Additional content-Hoya's best entertainment is "Kids song contest when I was 7 years old."
This kid's song contest was the very first time in my whole life to appear on stage. To show people, I practiced singing and playing the piano for the first time. But I dont' remember clearly t hat moment. Anyway, this must have had an affect on me. Then I had desire to be a musical performer, and I came to
like standing on stage. So this is my best entertainment.*

Dongwoo and Woohyun truly give some of the best most heartfelt answers and really makes being an Inspirit completely worth it and makes me feel so honoured to be apart of such a beautiful fandom for such beautiful boys and with such beautiful people ಥ⌣ಥ

I really feel like Dongwoo and Woohyun are the two most sensitive people in the group, and like they said, I respect Sunggyu so much as a leader. During their first win and the Inkigayo win, you can really see him almost being overwhelmed by emotion but trying to keep everything in check because he's the leader ಥ⌣ಥ

That said, Dongwoo's hair so so poofy and gorgeous and really gives me this incredible urge to pet it and run my fingers through its silky strands.

In the end Dongwoo chooses L and my first ever OTP in Infinite finally comes to life. All hail MyungDong the most beautiful skinship couple ever in the world. Someone on tumblr pointed out that while WooGyu is REAL, no two people in Infinite touch each other more than Dongwoo and Myungsoo. They sleep in the same bed share a room for crying out loud (and still do).
