I was going to come on enjoy a normal day of SNSD's performances and comment on their TO DIE FOR white dressed which are for all intents and purposes absolutely TO DIE FOR. BUT THEN THEY WON and nothing else matters, not even the white dresses (lol not. Awesome dresses are forever relevant). And b) because they're up against so many big name artists. I think the combination of all their reactions is pretty much every single thing I felt watching the winner video (again and again and again and again).
This time Tiffany and Sooyoung made me want to reach over and hug both of them. Yoona was her usual :D self for the duration, but you can really see the joy and elation she's feeling twinkling in her eyes (not being sappy at all nope). Jessica proves that under that tough exterior, there's a really squishy and sensitive person trying to get out. I remember Seohyun's story from Sesame Player, how she wrote that he'll only return home once she becomes successful and I think of this every single time I hear that SNSD's album is doing well and how great the group is doing on music charts.
I think Taeyeon is really a beautifully articulate person. She says things that can really tug at my heartstrings. What she said in her thank you speech is exactly the reason why I love SNSD and why I KNOW I will continue to love them in the future. Hyoyeon didn't get much screen time here but I still want to hug her and smoosh her and call her my own. And last, but certainly not least, Sunny. I love this girl so much. It feels like she's gotten the crying part out of the way during the first win and is now being the happy and bouncy Sunny hugging everyone from behind and having her own little celebration party behind all the members (with T-ERROR? I see you there Sunny and Hyomin) and living in her own fabulous little world where everything is beautiful and happy and everyone smiles all the time.Yuri is such an amazing and beautiful person and why I love her so much.
In some ways, this win feels just as important as their first win. Not only are they up against what is pretty much the cream of the crop of KPOP, but they've also proved that they're not just one-trick ponies. This is their second week of promoting and the first week of being eligible to win and to win at this stage is really a spectacular thing to achieve. From their reaction (and how they were unassumingly standing right at the back) I don't think they expected it either. And I absolutely love the way Super Junior went over to congratulate them. I really wish SM would give SJ better songs, then I'd have a reason to stan them again. I love Sujugeneration interaction so much.
Watching SNSD grow; celebrating their little achievements like reaching number 1 (their highest ever) on the charts, to this day seeing them take their 20+ WIN on a music show; it has been a wondrous sight to behold and the journey to this place has been a fantastic one. I look forward to being on many more journeys with them and you all and see how far they can go. It will be my pleasure and my honour.
Omg SuJu looked SOOOOO good! They rocked all three song and I am just in a wreck that they are done. I was cheering so much while watching them but at the same time I couldn't help but wonder if they will comeback.
Whatever happens to SuJu, I just want to thank them for everything. They got me into Kpop and I always stayed by their side. The past 3 years with them have been awesome and I can't wait to spend another year watch them on their world tour.
I just hope I can see them live during SS4 before it's over, that's all. Thank you, Super Junior.
C-REAL are adorbs. B1A4 I was so hype during this performance I don't even. Also I love the top half of CNU's outfit. F.T Island's performance was great! I loved the background on the screen! Super Junior had me spazzing and fanchanting. I'm going to miss them so much. I hope they stay busy during their hiatus.
