U-Kiss follow-up activities are not questioned anymore.

Earlier today, U-KISS announced that they’d be going into follow-up promotions with their next track, “Someday“. As it turns out, the group is abruptly halting their “Neverland” activities because of leader Soohyun being diagnosed with a vocal cord nodule.

U-KISS was originally scheduled to promote “Neverland” until the end of the month, but NH Media revealed on September 11th that they will be cutting it off early to let Soohyun rest.

As fans already know, Soohyun has quite a significant amount of high notes that are sung live throughout the song. For the past six months, he’s been training in singing and dancing at the same time for six hours a day.

Representatives stated, “The worst possible situation would be promoting their follow-up without Soohyun. Soohyun will be performing at the ‘Asia Song Festival‘ on October 15th because of how important it is, but we’ll make sure to lessen the strain on his vocals as much as possible.”

News was only announced about it yesterday. And if Nh media did find out about this in September, and continued to have him sing, shame on them

I like Someday (and Take me away) but Soohyun has some killer notes in Someday too so I'm not sure how that will work.
Maybe he can just lipsync? I remember Wooyoung lipsynced almost the whole Without U promo period when his throat was bad.
I'm just glad to be getting more U-kiss, especially with how short everyone's promo is now with running back to Japan all the time.

I'm glad they'll be promoting Someday...one of my fav songs off the album. Though, it'll be sad if Soohyun's just not there...with him being the leader and main vocal and all, if he's not there, something's just missing, especially for a slower song like Someday. That said, I do really want him to get better, so if not performing with the rest of the group is the best way for him to recover, then he needs to just take a break. His health is far more important. Knowing how he is, if he actually had to do that, it would probably tear him up inside, poor guy. :( Maybe he could lipsych?
