I've yet to watch the show, but I still believe that the answer is obviously Kyuhyun. Donghae really just knows a wide variety of cheesy pick up lines. 8D

Kyuhyun actually only has perfect pronunciation. He's unable to form proper sentences. Ryeowook, on the other hand, is able to string together coherent sentences with almost always good grammar. I would say at the time this was recorded, Ryeowook had the best Mandarin.

In terms of actual knowledge of Mandarin, probably Siwon or Ryeowook is the best...but their accents are so awful, especially Siwon's. D: Kyuhyun gives the impression of being good at Mandarin but really he just imitates accents really well and memorizes a few sentences that he uses for everything.

I was just about to comment with something similar. It's a shame that the other members don't get enough credit for their Mandarin because their pronunciation isn't as good as Kyuhyun's.

god, I loved this so much. I love SJM loads more than SuJu (will this comment get me killed idk). Kyuhyun seems to have so much more life in SJM, which makes this stan really happy. Plus Henry and Mimi are the best!

Anyway, I think that Ryeowook has the best Mandarin. I think Kyuhyun has nice pronunciation, but he flubs it up sometimes, which is very cute, keke.

Actually, everybody seem to have so much more life in SJM.
I like Taiwanese shows with them, it seems they enjoy these more than any Korean show. They are funny and relaxed and I'm so happy because of this.

and as for mandarin,
sungmin and eunhyuk are pretty bad, but that's expected. i would say sungmin is better by a hair
kyuhyun has really good pronunciation, short on vocab/grammar
donghae has pretty decent pronunciation & better in vocab/grammar than kyuhyun
siwon has okay pronunciation and far superior vocab and his grammar ain't bad
i would say ryewook has the best grammar, decent vocab, and okay pronunciation


but kyuhyun just sounds sooo good especially singing

I loved this show! It was so cute and I loved the part where they were practicing in the class and Siwon and Kyuhyun had their little "riff" lolll.

I love SuJu-M! I think it's because they're all working so hard just to get around and wrestle with a new language that they don't have time to worry about their image and the like.

Kyuhyun's was surprisingly pretty good. I was expecting worse based on the comments.
Ryeowook didn't talk enough for me to judge if he was good or not.. he seems to be able to read it very well though.

I adore all of Super Junior, but I think part of what's been missing from recent SJ activities is... equality, almost. It's almost become the Eeteuk-Eunhyuk-Shindong show in Korea, because they're who the general public is most familiar with, and because they've "proven" themselves to be funny on variety shows, they get hired for more variety shows, etc. It's hard to sell the other members, especially on shows where they have to share time with tens of other celebrities. You miss out on a lot of their little quirks and relationships that way.

With SJ-M, not only do the less-Korean-variety-show-experienced members get a chance to shine, they're comfortable with their little group and it shows. Plus, HyukMin are out of their language element and have to turn up their natural charm. I don't know, it might have something to do with my five-thousand-fat!Sungmins-wide bias for Zhou Mi, but I find myself being drawn more and more to SJ-M activities...

Oh man, I missed SJ-M so freaking much. All the boys look like they had so much FUN in Taiwan, and with each other, just joking (and snarking in Kyuhyun's case). Sungmin could not have been cuter. I love how he always tries to hide with the fans, most likely sending them into seizures.

I really need Henry and Zhou Mi back in my life, STAT.
