Date: 2011-09-10 04:12 pm (UTC)I'm actually kind of bummed it's ending. I started watching the show again when Kyuhyun joined, but I really grew to like and appreciate the other five as well. I think they had great chemistry together and were kind of egging each other on to do their best on stage.
I think this was really a beneficial show for Kyuhyun at least. I'm glad but in the end not even that surprised that he was willing to put himself out there by stepping out of the ballad comfort zone. He was actually capable of meeting the challenges of the show by upping the showmanship and mixing it around. I hope he carries these lessons to future KRY concerts and Super Shows as well.
But am I the only person in the world who doesn't get the fascination with Michael Jackson... covers, impersonations, MJ-inspired performances, idek what to call it. I like Michael Jackson's music etc. but I don't get the... this! We have the clothing, the dance, the singing style... Why? It feels like a parody, but not a very funny one.

Date: 2011-09-10 07:43 pm (UTC)i can appreciate hyorin's dedication. she's really trying to give a performance worthy of praise. she's worked hard on both her singing and her dancing. although sometimes the performance leaves me cold to her, i can say that she's the breakout star of this show. and hopefully this gives sistar some added attention.
at this point, it seems like it's a good idea to change the line-up. these idols are running out of steam/ideas. and they're starting to look tired and uninterested. and the performances are starting to look staid.
or maybe as a non-korean, these themes/mentors don't interest me at all, because i can't relate to it to that much.

Ahhh G.O...what can I say? His performance went straight to my heart. I love how much he held back on this song and kept it gentle for the majority of the song. And even when he gave out the power there was still a subtle tone that made it feel more melancholy. Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!
