TVXQ’s Avex A-Nation Ending Shocks Fans

TVXQ put on the ending performance for Avex’s A-Nation concert in Tokyo, which shocked both the media and concert goers.

For the past 8 years, Avex’s Queen pop artist, Hamasaki Ayumi closed the concerts by putting on the ending performance, but this year TVXQ was chosen. Being chosen as Avex A-Nation’s ACE is a huge deal,  and the media went abuzz about how it was the climax of TVXQ’s career.

The concert took place on the 27th and although it was originally  announced that Hamasaki Ayumi would be ending the show, since it was  A-Nation’s 10th year celebratory concert, they wanted to shock the fans, hence TVXQ took the honor of closing the show.

I love you TVXQ and I especially love you THSK bu ya'll did not deserve to close A-nation.

I'm still ubber butthurt over it. Especially since that's like saying Ayumi isn't as good or nearly as powerful in Avex compared to THSK when in fact that's a load of bullshit.

I'm a Homin fan, but I'm seriously side eyeing Avex and their choices rn.

For some reason I felt more sad about this than happy for the boys...I dunno, I feel like giving this to HoMin, and noth the full TVXQ is almost a slight to Ayumi. To me it seems to say that the TVXQ now is greater than the TVXQ in the past, and that they have reached their greatest point. It just seems...sad

You know, I love Yunho and Changmin and all (Changmin was my first bias/stan/obsession/sekrit husband), but it seems like anything they do as "TVXQ" doesn't seem important or...real, with just two of them. I hope I don't get flamed. That's just how I feel. It kinda seems like they're just going along with it...idk. I miss them all together. :(

It doesn't feel important or real for people that is living in the past, trying to cling to something that doesn't exist anymore.
It feels very real for their new fans and older fans like me that have move on.
We follow them closely and have seen how hard they try, how talented they are, how strong willed, this is the expected reward and it make us feel so damn proud :)

Anation doesn't go by the traditional fan group colors tho.
I think ayu goods were red and blue.
Toho's was brown or something. (Someone else probably knows)
But bigeast do have their red towels sometimes at anation that I have seen in fan pics.

Regardless this was done for a sensationalist news story. I don't believe Ayu is upset about this because she likes the boys but if this was a decision made solely by the staff then........ Wtf avex

I honestly find all this "well it's just homin" or if it was the 5 of them then maybe they'd deserve it. It's such an insult in my opinion. Like Yunho and Changmin's hard work of trying to build themselves back up as only two member...all that has no meaning. Like they're not good enough or worthy enough to be given a chance. Leave a bad taste in my mouth. I can understand it from people who don't support them but yeah...okay. Gonna stop my rant now. =)

I can see why this would be upsetting to Ayumi fans. However, I think people are being a little unreasonably harsh against HoMin right now. These boys worked really hard and deserve the success they have been seeing in Japan. HoMin had no control over where their placement in A-Nation was, so people should be butthurt towards Avex - NOT HOMIN.

Also, I feel like there seemed to be a pretty positive reaction to HoMin both at A-Nation and as the closer. I saw multiple sites/forums posting tweets and blogs from fans and non-fans saying how amazing Tohoshinki was and how great they are as performers.

Sometimes I wish this fandom would just chill the fuck out and appreciate the good things that are happening. Jesus Christ, it's like it can't be a DBSK/JYJ/HOMIN post without people being whiny ass babies about EVERYTHING. Just.....take a deep breath.
