omonatheydid | Infinite 91 line Hanryu Pia Interview

In July 2011, INFINITE had done their memorable first visiting Japan. After showcase in Osaka, only 3 of boys had to go directly to Pia editorial department from airport…

Hoya: We claimed “we wanna go to Shibuya”, then Hanryu Pia staffs took us to office district.

Woohyun: They said this is also Shibuya.

Sungyeol: This isn’t where I recognize as Shibuya~. No one else is walking…

Hoya: We 3 of us, should have group interview here.

Sungyeol: Ehh~, L had gone to drama work, but what are they doing? Sunggyu hyung, Dongwoo and Sungjong?

Woohyun: Ah, we might be scolded by staffs if we don’t start quickly. Well, our first visiting Japan was surprisingly! Concert at Tokyo Dome, wasn’t it?

Hoya: That’s right! It was terrific! I was putting earphones on my both ear, first I couldn’t hear the applause. When we were performing I put earphone off the one side. Then I was surprised at fans’ shouting “Waaaahhh!” on our scorpion dance in “BTD”.

Woohyun: My legs were shivering~. It was great experience that we could stand in front of 45,000 people. I felt INFINITE is growing up smoothly. Quite a few our seniors had for the first time performance in Japan there, so joining that concert was like dreaming. As I never miss the chance, I sang all my best.

Sungyeol: Our best performance ever in Japan! This time we were made up to stand on big stage, so next time we would like to stand by effort of ourselves.

Hoya: We had meeting and talked each other “Let’s try our best to mark at making fans excited as possible!”

Sungyeol: Yeah, we said we would speak all Japanese words we knew.

Woohyun: I learned lots of words. Can I speak all? Satsuei Omoshiroi. (Taking video is fun.) Sutajio wa hiroi. (Studio is big.) Tori ga tobu. (Bird flies.) Kotaewo kangaeru. (To think of answer.) Mizu ga tsumetai. (Water is cold.) Natsu wa atsui. (It’s hot in summer.) Gomennasai. (I’m sorry.) Daisukidesu~. (I like you so much.)

(*Staffs’ applause!)

Hoya: Woohyun, great! By the way, are they useful words in concert? (LOL)

Sungyeol: I was surprised Japanese fans knew Korean fan chant totally! I had strange feeling a bit.

Hoya: Fans’ cheering manner was so good! Though Tokyo Dome was so big, distance between fans and us was too long to see fans’ faces. But in our show case I could see their each faces well, their heated atmosphere directly.

Woohyun: In Korea there are not so many concert places where fans stand to watch. So I wonder they might hurt legs or feet. But I like that closeness!

Hoya: We can feel same under that distance.

*Finally they releases long waited 1st full album in Korea!

Woohyun: When we come back from Japan, our first full album “OVER THE TOP” will be on sale! It passed 1year and 2months since our debut. All songs are brand new ones. Including Sunggyu hyung’s solo song “Because” and my solo ballad “Time” is also recorded, in Hoya&Dongwoo’s “Crying”, Hoya made all rap lyrics, right?

Hoya: The lyrics are about something sad… It was hard work for me to make all lyrics of whole song, it was good experience.

Woohyun: Producer praised Hoya as he said “Surprised for such nice lyrics”.

Hoya: Thank you very much. (Smiling) Our title song of this time, “Be Mine”. In Japanese it means “Boku no mononi natte”. Please pay attention to listen the main part and the last rap part.

Woohyun: We have ambition to make people INFINITE’s fan!! Even though they are not fans of us, we will do our best! When will this Hanryu Pia be published? (Woohyun heard it’s on 22nd Aug) Ah, it must be almost our activity ends… But there will be following song activity, please expect us. Moreover, in September we will hold concert in Japan. See you again!

Sungyeol: Please come to our concert!

Woohyun: Hey,Sunggyu hyung and other guys went to Tokyo Tower! Still we are working now!

Hoya&Sungyeol: Envious!!
