I don't like it, the outfits remind me of 4minute and SNSD, preferred the other outfits. I like the way it sounds and that the rap was in Japanese but the Korean version seemed way more fierce.
Awwww they don't have the "just your collection line, easy access line" parts anymore :( Pretty good (esp. since the original melody suits Japanese well) but nothing beats the Korean version.
But man if I had a dollar for every time "dakishimete", "hanasanai de" and "yume wo mitsukete" (not necessarily in that order) pops up in a J-pop song lol....same with "michigesso/michigayo/some other variation" in K-pop.
I feel I'm the only one that appreciates the colour-coded costumes? *die hard Arashi and K8 fan* >.> Jisook looks crazy young and Hyunyoung looks DROP DEAD GORGEOUS.
Idk, I think this is one of the better Japanese versions of kpop songs. The lyrics aren't exactly groundbreaking, but I think Japanese fits well with this song.
They look great, and I am very pleased with how this was done in Japanese (I'm hoping it was re-written by the same person who did KARA's Jumping and Mister)... even Woori's rap.
This is a million times better than I expected. Definitely one of the best Japanese debuts by a kpop group! (Though I have to admit A is one of the best pop songs ever written anyway, they could make a version in every language of the world and I'd still gush about it...)
Their accents aren't heavy at all, I have no problems understanding the girls (unlike with some parts in certain Shinee and 2NE1 songs ;_;). Woori's rap in Japanese - wow, what a surprise! The girl rocks so hard.
The tight black outfits give me strong Run Devil Run-era SNSD vibes but the color-coded outfits to go with their band name make them stand out from the crowd of kpop groups and might help draw more attention to Rainbow. (And the ab dance, let's not forget that ;P)
I hope they'll get a lot of love and attention in Japan ♥
