Han Ye Seul arrives in Los Angeles: “I’ve dropped everything now”

Actress Han Ye Seul has opened up for the first time since the drama surrounding the production of KBS’s ‘Spy Myung Wol‘ made headlines.

According to a Korean-American news agency, the actress arrived at L.A.’s LAX airport around 3AM PST.

Reports state that Han Ye Seul commented, “The drama production scene was very hard. I’ve dropped everything now. The rumors surrounding Hwang In Hyuk PD [and myself] are not true. I want to rest.”

She added, “With this incident [as a stepping stone], I hope my junior actors will be able to film dramas in a good environment.”

The controversy involving Han Ye Seul stemmed from her refusal to show up for scheduled filming with ‘Spy Myung Wol’. For two consecutive days, the production crew was on standby with little idea as to when Han Ye Seul would return to the set. Han Ye Seul flew to the U.S. on August 15th, and KBS must now prepare an emergency press conference for the 16th.

...now that I'm really thinking, this girl most likely had a legit meltdown :( poor thing.

I hope the production crew and cast members pull through under these circumstances too. I know they feel absolutely blindsided.

IF this girl was on a verge of a mental breakdown, to say "she should have acted professionally" doesn't seem right. Also, mental breakdowns just don't happen suddenly. There was a slow build up, and looking at the acting industry, a lot of stuff can build up no problem.

Should she have taken the role if she wanted to rest? Probably not, especially if she was hanging by a thread already. HOWEVER, people can suffer breakdowns and NOT know it, so...it depends honestly.

I'm really confused. The statement doesn't really clear up anythig. She seems to be taking some of the blame (I expected her to either keep silence or play it diplomatic but it makes sense since she's being accused of being unprofessional), but everyone has been speculating that there WAS tension between the PD and Ye Seul?

IDK, that must have been a crazy debriefing/girding of loins before she stepped off that airplane. But WTF, who stakes out LAX for this kind of stuff irl?

About the incident HYS had with the PD on saturday, apparently HYS said to the PD "I cant trust you anymore" but Hwang PD replied with some very harsh words which hurt HYS. This person said in defence for HYS that although alot of ppl may think she seems like a ssagaji but rather, he looks at her style of dealing of matters an 'American' way.
