There are reports confirming that actress Han Ye Seul is seriously dating an older entrepreneur under the premise of marriage.

With this said, Han Ye Seul’s departure to Los Angeles on August 15th has raised possibilities of a secret marriage in the US which could lead to her retirement from the entertainment industry altogether.

Han Ye Seul has been dating an unnamed entrepreneur in his late 30s for about 8 months since the beginning of this year. It is reported that this entrepreneur has been sighted visiting the set numerous times by actors / actresses along with the the staff of KBS’s “Spy Myung Wol” to show his support for his lover.

The entrepreneur is known to have a very promising future as he is running a number of businesses in America. The couple first met through a social gathering and their relationship grew quickly to be dating under the premise of marriage. Not long ago, Han Ye Seul also received an expensive luxury sedan from her lover.

In particular, it is reported that Han Ye Seul has spoken of her plans of marriage to her co-stars on the set multiple times.

An anonymous actor/actress starring in the drama spoke on the 15th, “I’ve heard multiple times from Han Ye Seul, ‘I’m planning to get married in the US after I’m done with the drama’”. Another actor/actress commented, “Han Ye Seul has a very liberal personality so she is very free in expressing her emotions…she didn’t hide her relationship or plans for marriage”, and that she was tipped that her marriage is impending.

A person in the entertainment field that has inside knowledge of the couple’s relationship spoke via phone call with SportsDonga on the 15th, “Because Han Ye Seul is a famous celebrity, the couple has been carefully meeting on dates away from the public’s eyes… I know that [Han Ye Seul] promised to consider marriage seriously after the filming of “Spy Myung Wol” is finished”.

Han Ye Seul’s relationship was spread like wild fire around the premiere of “Spy Myung Wol” in early July. On two separate entertainment programs in April and June, she respectively commented, “This year’s goal is marriage”, and, “I want to skip the dating process and jump into marriage right now”, which sparked great interest in her fans.

Han Ye Seul’s absence for filming and her sudden departure to the US without permission leads to a more-than-reasonable speculation that she has left to the US for marriage, like she has been constantly speaking of.

It has also been confirmed that Han Ye Seul has spoken to her fellow actors and actresses before stating, “I have thoughts of retiring after finishing “Spy Myung Wol”".

The only reason why this would make sense to me, is that she really wanted to get married, wanted to retire from the acting business, and the filming of this drama pushed her off the edge, so she decided to just leave early and get married. Since he is a successful entrepreneur, and she has her own money, maybe she doesn't care about being sued. But ugh idk. I just feel like this is the last time we'll be seeing Han YeSeul active in the industry and this might never be explained by herself.

The timing on this is weird and the whole idea is ridiculous. I mean, it just seems like they're trying to paint her as frivolous or something for running off with her rich fiancee. But I don't think any of it makes sense considering how the whole situation has gone down. It's PR and it's transparent. AND I still think it's skirting the whole shady PD issues.

I don't doubt she is in a relationship judging by the comments her friends/colleagues have said, and I don't find it completely impossible for her to abandon her career to get married and maybe settle down for good in the U.S since her family lives over there. But the timing of this and the way this article makes it seem like she's running out of time to get married and like that's solely the reason why she left the country is odd too.

I wish her and the PD would just speak up already, I didn't think this mess would go so far.

What was the point of releasing this now other then to paint her as a shallow airhead. This is just ridiculous at this point. I doubt a season actress would just leave in the middle of her filming a drama to go and get married, even if this was going to be her last drama.
