KBS will take legal action against Han Ye Seul if she does not show up

With actress Han Ye Seul failing to show up at all to the set of her drama, ’Spy Myung Wol‘, representatives have revealed that they will be taking legal action if required.

On top of missing the film schedule for August 14th, representatives reported that she still hasn’t shown up as of 8AM KST for filming on the 15th. KBS stated that they will be trying to edit whatever footage they have for their broadcast this week to the best of their ability, but should that not be enough, they said that this week will be comprised of a special highlight reel.

A representative of the drama’s production company revealed, “Han Ye Seul and KBS are on completely different tracks, and it does not seem that the problem will be resolved any time soon.”

He continued, “Before they debate who’s at fault, the broadcast should be of the utmost priority here. It’s absolutely ridiculous that an emotional conflict between an actress and a producer is affecting the drama’s broadcast.  If Han Ye Seul does not show up at the film set today, we will be charging her for obstruction of business.”

Team Han Ye Seul tbh , I'd not show up for work too if I just got off of it at like 4 or 5 in the morning .Its a ridiculous schedule and her own health comes first.

I partly agree but this makes her look very irresponsible & diva-ish
because come on, it's not like this is the first time she's filming a drama, she knows exactly how hectic schedules can be & more than that, it's not like she's the only one in this, there's a whole team & they're all bearing it because no matter how hard it is, you have to be professional but YeSeul is not

it's not her first drama though, she knows the hectic schedules she signs up for. If she is sick I agree that her health should be her priority but many actors have been sick and taken time off and things haven't been blown out the way they have here because going by what reports say it's not only that she's supposedly sick but she is also having issues with the director.

She handled this immaturely from the very beginning imo anyway because it's just unprofessional to say 'I refuse to show up', rather than 'im sick can you give me some time?'. Idk tbh i think there's more to it than it's being said. I like her but she needs to be more professional

Usually I'd completely agree with this, too . . . if she hadn't been aware of what shooting a drama was like in the first place. Being the veteran drama actress that she is, it doesn't add up to me that she didn't anticipate she would have a crazy schedule like this.

But OTOH, maybe she is genuinely sick (although in that case, why is her agency coming up with this 'her body is ill' shit instead of being more specific?), or has some other legitimate reason for not coming. But the Sidus statement basically screamed BS to me, which is why I personally feel like it could be a power play or some other diva-ish behavior.

I'm kinda disappointed in Han Yeseul because I really love her as an actress & this is definitely not the right way to handle things whether she's right or at fault

& I also feel bad for the drama crew, if this doesn't end well, all their hard work is going to waste (which makes Yeseul's attitude look even worse, being so selfish & inconsiderate to her team-mates)

Dude, so much mudslinging around. She seems like an intelligent person so I'm sure she was aware of the repercussions of her actions. If she's being driven to the end of her endurance, this is probably the only road she thought she had left. Yeah sure, things could have been done differently but as an outsider, I reckon things are much more different than we're being shown. As such, I'm sitting on the fence. We'll see.

Though, I reckon Sidus could have done a better job arbitrating this before things slid down to this.
