The riot situation in London's downtown is spreading across the UK and is giving off sparks to South Korea's entertainment world.

Cube Entertainment will be holding a family concert called 'United Cube Concert' in London (Wembley Arena) in November. But a disruption came as they prepared for the concert. The planned concert preparation could not work well because some of the companies that are close to the riot.

Cava Entertainment who's on charge on 'United Cube Concert' revealed, “The work is pending right now because of the current riot situation, and we will back into discussion again after it calms down.”

the article doesn't say the riots will still be on in november.

rather, it is a matter of the companies who have been targeted/destroyed/attacked/looted in that are struggling and what not b/c of the riot. preparations for the united cube concert start very early and if those companies are too busy dealing w/ the aftermath of the riot, the concert will not be prepared in time for november.

please learn to read properly.

Are they serious? The riots were pretty big, yeah, but everything's calmed down now over here - there's no way there'll be riots in November.

is there a full version of beast's photo? O_o

now that that's out of the way, i guess it's good that they're updating the fans, but did anyone really think about the cube concert while the riot(s) were happening?

They are going to back out and blame the riots, things are calming down.
Clean up time and start rounding up assholes to lock up.

lol cube. this statement was totally unnecessary and excuse me, sounds very self-serving since the concert isn't until November and the riots have already started quieting down.

they said they're aiming for november the 19th.
but of course there needs to be an official statement with the date and arena

:/ to some degree I understand if they're saying the concert preparation has been disrupted as they probably would have to start now, or soon, but in the long run surely things should be fine by November?

Things are definitely quieting down at least as far as I've noticed, although its rumoured that it'll be kicking off again in Finsbury Park, Highbury and Wood Green tonight so any Londoners around there, please be safe <3

oh the fond memories I have of Wembley Ikea.. especially of having to go there twice in on day because I forgot a part of my new bed frame and had already chucked the old one out.

Lol I go to Wembley twice a week and that old recording studio in Wilsden/Neasden too.
I don't know about the other areas but Wembley seems to be surprisingly quiet.

After all these years, I have never stepped foot in that ikea!

hmm i was worried that these riots will have an impact of some sort on the preparations for the concert. or that they'll just get scared and change their mind about it. now that things are calming down i hope they'll continue preparing for the concert.
but wembley arena? i checked wiki and it says its capacity is 12,500. isn't that a little too big?? le zenith where smtown was held was about 6,300 which was fine with me cuz i could see them upclose. plus i'm worried: what if they can't fill it? sm came with 4 big acts while cube relies on b2st most of the time. plus jyj announced that they might come in octomber or november in germany.. and also a lot of fans are broke after smtown.. i luv ma boys and i want united cube to be successful too

From: [identity profile] herro-kitty.livejournal.com
but I thought sm had to add another concert because the demand was high? I was actually worried about not being able to get a ticket if the concert hall is small, but now I'm relieved.

Saying this since they announce London. I don't get that choice and I don't get the date. For real. Where are the bright persons we used to have at Cube? Because since this summer, they seem to have disappeared.

Eh, I don't see how the concert can be affected by the riots, things have calmed down now, any disruption with suppliers etc has more than enough time to be sorted out.

Tbh, sounds to me like Cava (whoever they are)/Cube used this as an opportunity to get their international concert mentioned in the Korean news.

O/T, Cameron is an asshat, makes me wish I'd voted Labour tbh.

This whole thing has been badly done imo.
We didn't know the venue before this announcement, we don't know the date or anything else for that matter.

The riots will not go on forever so I really don't see the point of this at all.

Did anyone watch the young voters' question time today? It was super intense.
