Nine Muses will become Seven Muses...for now

Previously, allkpop reported that Nine Muses would be making a comeback as a seven-member unit because members Rana and Bini had left the group to pursue their own activities.

On August 11th, a representative of Star Empire stated, “Rana and Bini have left the group after making a mutual agreement with the company. Both of them wanted individual activities.” He continued, “Nine Muses will promote as a unit group right now because we have plans to add two more members and promote fully as a nine-membered group.”

According to Star Empire, both Rana and Bini are preparing to continue on with their solo activities. In fact, Rana is currently a MC for a cable program and is pursuing her career in the entertainment industry.

Initially, Nine Muses made a debut last year with members Sera, Hyemi, Eunji, Sam, Jaekyung, Minha, Erin, Bini, and Rana with their track, “No Playboy“. They gathered much attention for their average height of 172cm, and even received the nickname “Model-dols (Model+Idol)” because the group’s members were like supermodels.

Meanwhile, the seven-member unit will be making a comeback with the release of their digital single on August 18th.

I dont carez coz HBIC Sam is still in the group. Hopefully they add members that aren't so vocally challenged, Sera(?) was the only one that could sing imo

lol they are graduating members even faster than adding members, guess they have stolen AS' graduation concept.

I'm not surprised at the number of member changes though. These girls are all professional models, they can just continue doing that instead of slogging all day and night as an idol, practicing singing and dancing. It's probably not profitable for them to do this, they have to split the income they earn amongst 9.
