Luna and Coyote Ugly

Last month, we reported that f(x)’s Luna was cast alongside Gavy NJ’s Jang Hee Young and Yoo Ha Na for the role of ‘April’ in the musical adaptation of ‘Coyote Ugly‘.

On July 22nd, the press call for the musical opened at the Han Jun Art center in Seoul. Since it’s Korea’s first ever adaptation of the musical, it’s been receiving both domestic and international attention.

Fans commented, “I love seeing Luna work so hard”, “I hope Luna gains a lot of good experience from this musical”, and “She looks gorgeous!”

SNSD's 1st Asia Tour to be released on DVD finally (Bout time / Pre-order links)

(I didn't know if this was posted/  only glanced through the tags etc. Apologies if it's a double post.)

The 2-disc DVD that is set to release soon will be a live recording of only their February 2010 encore concert held in Seoul.
Regardless, the DVD will be packed with both the girls’ special performances as well as solo stages. The DVD will consist:

hmmm...I feel like Luna, is that Disney star that one day, when you're innocently picking up a newspaper to read, you're shocked into finding her nude on the front cover. I mean, the whole thing isn't even controversial or even close, but her face looks so young and I don't know...makes me feel uncomfortable somehow, and I'm incredibly hard to phase.

No, Luna... just no. I've never liked her from the beginning but this is really just - uncomfortable. She is way too young to be in this musical performing on stage with male strippers with her legs spread open in booty shorts. I understand she was chosen because she looks easily 10-15 years older than she really is but... she's still a kid.

As a f(x) fan I always prided myself in knowing that my girls could do sexy and be classy. But this is just nasty.

I, for one, think Luna looks hot. Honestly, the outfit isn't that bad when you take into consideration that, during the summer, most Korean girls in Korea are in booty shorts, anyway.

She's probably too young for this role (like she was for Legally Blonde, honestly), but if she chose to take on such a task, then I'm rooting for her. I think she's taken a genuine interest in musicals and I'm interested in seeing her in more roles.
