4Minute, “We looked like 2NE1 and After School? No, we’re different”

A photo of upcoming group ‘HyunA’s group’ 4Minute has been revealed today after their silhouette teaser yesterday.



With an average age of 18, members are HyunA, Ji Hyun, Ga Yoon (20), Ji Yoon (20), and youngest So Hyun (16). After looking at the photo, many netizens commented, “They look no different from 2NE1 and After School“.

With that, Cube Entertainment came out to say, “This photo is not for their main cut. Like their ‘Hot Issue’ teaser video, the girls follow Candy Funky concept, they can take the cute, or pure, or strong image, their style changing from time to time.”

“Their candy funky is much different After School who does vivid colours and 2NE1 with the hip hop style. Candy funky is currently very famous in Europe with the spirit of ‘Let’s go back to the 1980s’.”

The full MV for ‘Hot Issue’ directed by Hong Jong Ho who also did Seo Taiji and the Boys‘ MV will be released on 15th June.
