APeace is bigger than the Lion King cast, & finally some mini album news

On June 23rd, the 21 members of APeace visited Shiki Theatre in Tokyo where the musical “The Lion King” was playing. “The Lion King” premiered in Japan in 1998 and has been a mega-hit music for the past 13 years. APeace, meanwhile, just launched a long tour in K Theater Tokyo Ebisu starting th 18th of this month. Today, after their performances finished, they rushed over to the venue of “The Lion King”. The 21 members looked excited after the show as they were able to interact with the actors onstage.

Kazuya, who plays the role of Simba, gave a bouquet to member Min Jinhong.


Changwoo said, “This was the best experience. I will never forget this.” Yoo Dongho said, “I was impressed with the show. I’m terribly excited.”


Taewoo said, “It’s awesome, 13 long years. I would like even more than 13 years for APeace. All members unanimously agreed.



Toru Nakajima, who plays Timon, said, “Since coming to Japan, they’ve been very busy and have worked hard… Hakunamatata…Please be strong in spirit like Simba.” APeace then sang the song “Endless Night” like a chorus, surprising the man who plays Simba.


In addition, three of the members: Kim Seunghyung, Jung Youngwook, and Hwang Doohwan, climbed the set piece representing Pride Rock and struck an exultant post just like Simba.


Lion King is now performing for its spring season in Tokyo. Tickets are available today.

LOL. Then just learn the names of the ones that interest you and as you watch their shows/interviews the rest will slowly come on their own. That's what I did with SuJu and SNSD when I first got into them. Heck, that's what I still have to do with most new groups these days.

I saw the Lion King in 2008 on Broadway. It was really good and the whole time I remember the girls behind us gushing over how hot Simba was. It's been a while since I've seen a musical though. I really want to see one now.
