We recently reported on the graduation of After School's Bekah. Bekah will be graduating on July 1st before returning to Hawaii. She will be the first After School member to officially graduate from the group.

After School will not be one member short for long, however, as Avex Entertainment in Japan is planning on holding auditions to recruit a Japanese member into the group.

Not much information has been disclosed regarding the details of the auditions, nor have the auditions been officially announced by Pledis Entertainment. However, the auditions would not come as a complete surprise considering After School will have their Japanese debut in August with the Japanese release of "Bang!" After having partnered with After School for their Japanese debut, Avex appears to be starting to take more control over the group's future activities.

What do you think about the possibility of a Japanese member in After School?

so the rumor about the japanese member was true, hmm...
idk, i think this whole "graduation system" is bullshit, eventhough i love after school with uee, lizzy, raina and nana. but every member has her own fangroup who is important for after school as a group (= more money), and after she graduated those fans wont support after school anymore (= less money) so if you look at it businesswise this doesnt make sense..
after school shouldve stayed a 8 member group, E-Young is completely unnecessary imo.

but with this whole graduation system i hope that raina, lizzy and nana graduate too and only promote with orange caramel. this should be also in their interest cause they would make more money with orange caramel than with after school

Seems kind of heart breaking to get into a group and it's members knowing that eventually, your favorite member might leave. Big Bang/BEAST without TOP/Dongwoon? Umm. Or even girl groups, no Ga In in BEG? No CL in 2NE1. This is not a reality I want.
