Date: 2011-06-15 07:07 am (UTC)I see Yunho prettying this up like he's been prettying everything else up recently—he looked younger than I thought he would—and quietly applaud those award-winning zoom-ins of his body. That shot of him turning his head around to look behind him was simply magnifique, I swear to the Eiffel Tower glowing at night. There was a soft vulnerability in his face I was surprised to see.
But I also got a lot of satisfaction from the second and third versions because they featured Prince Shim I-am-here-to-royally-fuck-your-shit-up-just-because-I-can Changmin. He needs to play a villain when he gets another chance to act. The attractiveness quotient of this two-faced genius heartbreaker on my screen is sky high, and he knows it, smirking like a winner while calmly taking the beating from a handbag.
What I don't really see is how these relate to 'My Journey Begins'. Is it about Stephanie giving up on South Korean men, buying a better jerk-resistant handbag at the duty-free, and starting a new life in another country? Is it about I-Don't-Know Yunho seeing Changmin in ultraviolet light and instinctively knowing his life is going to hell and back? Or is it about bored Changmin finding something to do in transit in the middle of the night when there's nobody arou—oh, hey, look, some people to play with?
