June 24th, the digital release of <The Very Best>
First of all… due to internal affairs, I want to give my greatest apologies for the delay of 2NE1's new song.
We have decided that 2NE1's next new song after Don't Cry and Lonely will be released on June 24th and the title of the song will be <The very best>
This song is a work of YG's main producer Teddy, and it is a powerful song, with a mixture of electronic and hip hop genres with a fast beat. It is a song that is expected to generate good response to the fans who have liked 2NE1's debut song, Fire, as well as 2NE1's musical style that has captured the younger generation.
Although they have not been doing promotions previously, this time 2NE1 is planning to make a comeback and do broadcast activities with "The very best"
It has only been about 9 months after 2NE1's first full length album that was released in September, which included Can't Nobody, Go Away, Clap your Hands and It Hurts, since 2NE1's new song has included broadcast activities.
The music video for <The Very Best> was directed by director Seo Hyunseung, and it will be released on the 24th along with the song at 12AM.
2NE1's mini album release date
Currently the date planned for 2NE1's mini album release is July 21st, and the mini album will include the previously released Don't Cry and Lonely, and <The Very Best>. In addition, we are also planning to add two or three new songs. Since it is an album that we have worked on for a very long time, we have many plans, however we will reveal the full details at a later date.

2NE1's First Solo Concert
On August 27th and 28th, we are planning to have 2NE1's first ever solo concert. The location will be the "Olympic Hall" located in the Jamsil Olympic Park.
After a long period of construction, the Olympic Hall will be transformed into a special concert hall and is expected to hold about 4000 audience members in one hall.
Compared to the typical concerts that have been held by YG, it isn't that big of a scale, however since this is the first concert after 2NE1's debut, rather than being over zealous , we will work so that it can be a fulfilling and fun concert where they can get a bit closer with the fans.
We expect to start selling tickets on July 7th, and for full details about the concert, we will be releasing an official announcement next week on YG and 2NE1's homepage.
Other News
The air date for 2NE1(TV) Season 3 has not yet been set. However we will be filming in a guerilla style, like we had first planned, every time a good idea pops up, and broadcasting it like that, on YG ON AIR which has so far had a total of 6 episodes.
<The Very Best> marks the start of 2NE1's official activities and mini album activities that will continue to the end of August. After 2NE1's first concert, they will cross over to Japan and do their debut Japanese activities for approximately 2 months.
We hope that everyone will support and anticipate 2NE1's come back and official after so long.
