Block B 110610 Behind the Show(subs) + 'New Kids on the Block' news

Yesterday Cho PD teased fans about Block B’s upcoming album. Earlier today, he unveiled their album cover and released a short preview of his own new song.

On June 10th, Cho PD tweeted,

“Officially Block B first copy of Block B’s debut album!! ^^“

Meanwhile on his tumbler account, the multi-entertainer gave his fans a short sample of his upcoming track, saying,

“Giving this song from my upcoming album as a gift to all of Cho PD fans who are not getting responses because I’ve been busy focusing on Block B lately ^^ This just finished mixing keke“

The song he revealed is titled “Thrilla“, which guest features Zico, Park Kyung, and Hanhae.

After wrapping up their debut promotions last month, Block B has been busily preparing for their first mini-album. The boys have not only finalized their album, but have also recently completed their music video filming and album jacket photoshoot.

With the release date of June 23rd inching closer, Cho PD tweeted an informal teaser to appease excited fans. He tweeted, “We were originally planning to show you the teaser today, but the editing is taking longer than thought. I do feel a bit sorry for that, so I showed you a picture I liked the best. It was eliminated from the final poster line-up by majority decision.”

Their title track is described to be a fun, upbeat song matched for the Summer season. In tune with the style, the boys have gone for a more colorful look.

Most noted is leader Zico’s hair style, as he looks to be sporting dreads.

Block B also has two reality shows coming up – one with MTV Korea and another with Hanlove Japan – as well as a drink CF in the works.

The fancam song right? I've really fallen in love with this one, at first I thought it was ok but I later got to see the clip and thought it was hilarious. For me it's one of those songs you need to listen to a couple of times before you really like it. It's diff from their style or whatever but I think they could gain more fans if they do promote it.

The song has already gotten mixed reactions from my tlist, some are pretty disappointed. It doesn't fare that well when it comes to first impressions.

But I love everything about it. I love the dance and how cute everyone looks in this song. It also makes me nostalgic and for a summer song that's not really easy to do. :3 I do hope more ppl like it and the hardcore hiphop fans won't be too disappointed.
